I have received the order. All relatively fine. However I have received a bill for import tax. At NO point was there anything that advised me I would have to pay this. I have emailed them twice to ask about it and just been ignored. This is really disappointing as it was ALLOT of money to begin with. I DO NOT recommend purchasing due to the hidden fees. Feel free to refund me the £40.16. Terrible service when buying from a UK website.

Confusing ordering process and useless product
I am very disappointed with the ordering process. My curtains came to me in a wrong size. The Nikkei-Art website ordering process is not clear. I wanted to order a pair of curtains of a certain size but received two curtains of half of the required size. They simply divided the submitted length into two halves which I didn't expect and didn't realise in time. Curtains turned out absolutely useless. In their message Nikkei-Art insisted that they were right and it should be clear that curtains which are " 2 equal parts- Size : 80cm x 180cm" are in fact size 40 cm x 180 cm each.

Use this Company at your own risk
Due to an administrative error by Nikkel-Art, they sent incorrect invoice information to Fedex. This resulted in an unexpected invoice from Fedex with threats of court action if I did not pay.
After many emails I agreed to pay the Fedex invoice and Nikkel-Art agreed to refund the overcharge to me of £53.83.
This was agreed on 27th June, and I paid the Fedex invoice to stop any further action by Fedex.
No payment or refund has happened.
I chased it up on 11th July and was promised action by their accounts team
Sent another e-mail on 4th September and once again was promised payment
It's now 24th September with still no payment, no follow up in fact absolutely nothing.
If I knew the name of the CEO, then that would be my next e-mail. This review is the first of many negative reviews I will publish on different platforms

Deceptive with information about Tax, small print making overall cost is very high.
The cost is too high. There is a small print stating about extra tax, very deceptive. You may have an extra bill after the purchase. Only if you are prepared to pay extra approximately 25% extra to buy fromNikkel Art if you're from the UK. I had to pay 26% extra.

So a month on and still no refund
So a month on and still no refund, oh it arrived like weeks later but its damaged !! I bought this for a birthday present and it arrived way too late and now I have a damaged item sitting in the box and NO refund !
If I send it back I may end up paying extra shipping tax costs so I am in limbo ! I wouldnt order from this company ever again..

UK customer service doesn’t answer the number provided. Fed Ex just say it’s at Customs. No end in sight of when I will receive order. Very poor. Nowhere on Nikkel-Art.nl's website does it say that your own photo cannot be printed properly into a poster.

I paid for a kitchen splash back from Nikkel art in August 2020. I have heard nothing from the company for over eight months. I have made numerous attempts to contact to no avail. I have been trying to ask for a refund with no response.
I have no choice but report them through Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Total waste of my time!

Do NOT buy any thing from the company unless you are totally aware that you will get a invoice for importing their product into GB in my case £56.99. In my order I had made it clear that if there were any other charges above the stated price I did not wish to proceed. I will NEVER buy anything from the company again.

DO NOT USE!! Unforeseen Charges
Do not use if you are in the UK! Our delivery arrived in an acceptable time and is of fair quality. However, shortly after receiving our goods we were contacted requesting an extra £56 (on an order of £200) for import fees. With a .co.uk domain and free delivery, this was unexpected. Dig a little deeper and it turns out they are not Uk based!
Given this unexpected cost, there are lower-cost options from UK suppliers. Will shop around more in the future to avoid these obscene fees!

Satisfaction not guaranteed
The seller promises a 100% satisfaction guarantee but has unfortunately fallen far short of delivering this for me. I placed my order (a kitchen splashback) on 7 December for delivery by 4 January. The order was delayed by 2 weeks (entirely down to the company and not delays caused by Brexit) and when it arrived I was hit with a bill for £63 import vat as it has come from Europe, which was not clear when I made my purchase as it has a “.co.uk” domain name
Then there's the quality of the printing, which I am also not impressed with. The detail is indistinct so while it looks ok from 12 foot back it looks fairly naff up close. I contacted the company to express my dissatisfaction but they just tell me they think it looks good and that you're bound to lose detail on larger panels. If this was the case they should have made it clear when I made my purchase, as other companies do. The image was from the company's website (it isn’t something I uploaded so I had no control over file size or resolution) and there was no suggestion the detail would not be sharp due to the size (which was well within the maximum I could specify for the image). Responses from the company were dismissive and they haven’t offered even a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill
Overall I’ve waited too long for an item which doesn’t meet my expectations, I’ve paid an extra £63 to receive it which is a considerable amount on top of the cost of the item and the “100% satisfaction guarantee” counts for absolutely nothing. I’d report to trading standards if the company was based in the UK but as it is apparently based in the EU I doubt they can do anything.
I won’t be ordering from this company again
