Fearing a scam
I cashed out for 675, in December. A month later and no word other than there are problems with PayPal and no anticipated date of resolution.
I fear I went to a bunch of restaurants and will not get compensated. If you are new, I’d avoid.

Lies, Lies, Lies
Lies, lies, lies- I'm STILL waiting on my payments for 2 months of reviews. When I email and ask where the payment is they keep feeding me BS saying "we're sending out so many payments that PayPal is backed up and behind". That is an absolute lie because I receive PayPal payments daily with no issues. Even rhe Shopmium app INSTANTLY pays via PayPal. Now I had more money load in my Observati account that needs to be transferred to my PayPal and it says I can't send it "because I sent a request on 12/20 (for my November pay) that still hasn't processed yet". PLUS their gift cards are lies too- they aren't really gift cards. They're restaurant.com gift certificates where you have to spend a certain amount to get anything off. Like $15 off of $50 or $50 off $100. Had i known that I wouldn't have signed up. Still fighting to get my money back or get the money I earned.

They lower the amount that they give reviewers each time. You receive as low as $5 after going to the restaurants, writing reviews uploading photos, etc. And it happened to me after writing 2 reviews. Although advertised nicely, because of the wait time you can at maximum go to 3 restaurants in a month. Gift cards are hard to use. It just makes you spend more money. I have eaten in 2 restaurants and did not receive anything without completing the Tax documents. It's not even a taxable amount.
I feel so stupid joining their program. I spent over $150 for food and membership fees, wrote analytical long reviews, and literally got $0 out of everything. Such a waste of my money and time.

However so far the customer service has been just wonderful, and sooo attentive! thank you sooo much for that I cant wait to see what else this company has to offer and grateful to be a part of the team!
