No aftersales service, no response to emails, stuck since months with unusable Kanuk 3 stove

We bought a Kanuk 3 22.1kW stove and additional heat exchanger in september. The stove was delivered in time.
Problems began when we tried to use the stove for the first time (brand new stove and double-walled chimney installation!). We can't use the stove due to smoke entering our living room. We tried lots of changes (swedish fire startup, replacing the heat exchanger by normal pipe, adding additional double-walled pipes on top of the roof, etc). Nothing helped. We have bought and installed a brand new Kanuk 3 stove and can't even use it.
But even worse: we don't get any help from Ofenseite. I already sent a multitude of emails asking them to calculate the chimney drauft based on their filled-in calculation document, but this calculation has never been done. Nor have they ever helped analysing the situation in order to propose a decent solution. The same story applies to the stove manufacturer EHV. All emails sent without any response.
We are stuck with a unusable stove and freezing temperatures outside. We can't look for help anywhere else since we bought the stove at Ofenseite.
I expect the chimney calculation and a proposition to at last being able to use the Kanuk stove. Or is this stove simply not built to burn wood???


Answers to below questions:
1) heated living space
2) flue outlet not above rooftop, but at least 2,5m from roof ridge
3) no obstacles within 15m

Hello Tom,

as apparently this time you don’t receive our mails when there’s a PDF doc attached, we’ll try to transform the calculation into another format like jpeg or something and send it to you separately. Hope this time it’ll work then finally, as of course we’re all trying to help you and to find the problem’s reason. Normally, according to the still a bit rough calculation the stove should work properly without the heat exchanger.
So the colleague asked about some more details already on 17 December, as there are the following questions:
• The attic area, is it heated living space or not? (so-called “Warm- oder Kaltbereich“, can make an amazing difference in calculation)
• The flue outlet – is it above the roof ridge?
o If yes, for how much?
o If no, is it at least 2,30 m distant from the roof ridge?
• Within a radius of 15 m of the flue outlet, is there any obstacle, such as for example a tree, another building or house or something like that?

You should have received this message also as mail, if not, perhaps it’s a good solution that you can read the needed information here as well.

Eine nicht zufriedenstellende Erfahrung

The order came in very badly packed, the cardboard boxes were almost falling apart when I received the order. The stove pipes were individually wrapped to protect, that was ok, but still three from the seven stove pipes I ordered were damaged. A little scratching would be fine with me, but the damage was so severe that the pipes couldn't be fitted together anymore. Customer service didn't react at all within the 12 hours they promised on the website.
