Paphos Holiday Rental Reviews 3

Apartment number 002, Block 3, Paradise Gardens, Paphos. Cyprus.
- Apartment was very clean with good accommodation.
However:
- On arrival, in late evening, there was no running water. Not fixed until next morning.
- The double bed duvet was not wide enough.
- There was no mirror at the dressing table (desk)
- There was nothing to put day clothes on when undressing for bed.
- There were no instructions to operate the AC, television or hot water immersion heater.
- There was not enough crockery, plates, dessert bowls, etc, in the kitchen.
- The cooking utensils, pots and pans, were in a poor condition.
- There was no washing up bowl nor dish drainer.
- There were no table mats for glass topped dining table.
- The patio was seedy. The fencing needs painting, the sun lounger mattreses need replacing, the wicker chairs need to be disposed of.
There was no welcome folder to give general information about the area, shops, beaches, places to visit, restaurants, etc.

We rented through this company and the property (16953-PAPHOS-166) was awful. Running with damp, plaster cracked and flaking, mattresses filthy and pillows disgusting and unusable. I had to buy drinking glasses as there was only one. One tea towel. Ironing board filthy with cover in shreds. I have complained to the company and the owner to give them a chance to come back to me before I reviewed but it seems they are not interested. This was a double disappointment for my husband and I as we were looking to book for an extended holiday next year to celebrate our Golden Wedding. NOT with this company!

When we booked on the website it stated “All Paphos apartments and Paphos villas have a weekly cleaning service ensuring that the property and its linen are clean when you arrive.”

We had booked for a fortnight and expected the villa to be cleaned after the first week. This did not happen. All we got was a change of linen after two phone calls.

When we asked about a weekly cleaning service we were told that the website meant the villa would be cleaned between lettings. This is not what the website said but that entry has been removed.
