Plex adverts
Firstly, while it's easy to create an account, that's about the only good point.
There are some good (if not new) titles available, but the issue for us was that the ads are incredibly intrusive. They're not only very frequent, but are far too long compared to the segments between them.
We got about two thirds through our episode, having already had about three lengthy ad breaks, only for the rest of the program blanked.
Will not be watching again
Not many top notch movies are offered…
Not many top notch movies are offered and during one movie lasting 156 minutes there were 9 commercial breaks totaling 22.75 minutes.
Give me an AD break. I wouldn't recommend Plex to anyone except my worst enemy.
Plex has more adverts and lasts longer…
Plex has more adverts and lasts longer than the film your watching.
Don't even bother trying to watch anything on plex find another viewing platform and certainly not PLEX
Crap
This is the App if you like adverts with a bit of Film between them, absolutely crap.
I hate it!
I hate it!! 8 ads in a row!! I know it’s free, but more ads ham the movie you’re trying to watch?!? NO!
Greed taken to the next level
You now have to pay to stream content straight from YOUR self-hosted server (without any relays or proxies) to YOUR browser via the internet.
Absolutely disgusting, switching to Jellyfin.

plex.tv "watch movies free" = 1 minute of film, 1 minute of advertising. no, thank you.
Far too many ads
Watched a very good movie absolutely ruined by adverts ( a 3 mins ad break every 15 mins).
Almost as much adverts as movie
Three minutes of adverts every 10 minutes of movie, and the ads can appear while the actors are mid sentence.
My experience for plex is the worst of…
Sorry forgot to tell the other reviewers on here if you’re review was liked it was me and if you truly despise plex as much as me like my review. My experience for plex is the worst of the worst. I would not recommend plex to my worst enemy. So you know plex every single ad I do not watch and I mute it. So you're ha4d work for ruining my viewing experience did not work. Also I'm glad I didn't pay 1 red cent for your service and others. I hope plex and a lot of other worthless apps get dropped. 😁
Stupid platform
Don't even waste your time watching something on this website. Stupid says "watch free movies" and what it offers is an old, third-hand British movie with 7 advertisements every 9 minutes. Not recommended.
Google: A "Reserve The Right To Refuse Sign-In" Mess-up-in-the-head!
I have to once again jump to conclusions, usually provoked by Google, because the mess-up-in-the-head company has infinitely expanded to another reason for me to ONCE AGAIN emphasize when I say "DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE TO FIX IT," by reserving the right to deny us a sign in on apps and websites, like this one. Let me know if you agree on this or if you still think that Google is doing a fine job.
Stay away !!
Like everyone else here I am strongly advising to stay away from Plex.
The software look nice and everything you hope for but you will never get what you pay for.
Plex is just not working, bugs keeps coming and will destroy all your movie nights!
Service is the worst possible since they do not offer technical support. Of course since they know their software is not working.
They refuse to give a refund
Not worth it if you don't want to buy a license
Want to stream movies from your own server? That's a premium feature.
Want subtitles that line up with your media? That's premium too.
Want to sync up watching with your friends? That's not a feature at all, even with the premium license. (It used to be, but they scrapped it.)
Everything that used to be good about this software has gone out the window in the past year. Now features that have been standard for years are "premium" features, and require a license. Bonus: The license price more than doubled just days before they notified users of the changes.
So if you want to drop $250 to use a server that you operate, which streams files that you own, Plex is the right fit for you. For the rest of us, it's just a disappointment.
Trainwreck marketing strategy to make money
I've been using Plex for about 10 years and recently started watching some of their ad-supported content. Now, however, I have to pay to access my own media, which I find frustrating. This feels like a disastrous marketing strategy for Plex, as they’re trying to profit off content that belongs to their users. I believe there are better, more respectful ways for them to generate revenue without alienating their user base.
The new update force to pay
The new update force to pay. Even if it'd my own server.
DONT USE PLEX
it was dump whenever i used plex it would not load the movie it did not matter what hotspot i was using it just did not work 😡😡😡
They don't allow you to navigate…
They don't allow you to navigate forwards or reverse on a program. Also they do NOT offer captions for the hearing impaired. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Movie with no ending to watch!
Signed up, started watching a movie, hour and a half into it ….. and the movie cuts out 10 minutes before the end! I restarted it, fast forward to the same point, same again!! So what’s the point in a movie where you don’t get to see the ending !!?just Rubbish, don’t bother.
Don't Bother Installing Plex Media Server
Roku Media Player is missing some Codecs I need so though I would try PLEX since it is available on Roku.
First impression Looks Great. Second impression, if I can get it to work it might be Great. Where I am now, two hours later....
Would like to give it No Stars but have to give it 1. Complicated setup. Some bits sort of work. Playing a large media file, on my own server, stutters and stalls. The sound quality is rubbish. Thought I had the wrong file till I played it in VLC. Great sound, great video. Well done VLC.
Tried playing a free old film available in Plex. Waited ages for the thing to stop endlessly spinning but it did play when i tried again later although there were a lot of adverts. Will be uninstalling Plex Media Server. What a waste of my time.
