Comfy, cosy Skomer Cottage

A lovely couple of nights in Skomer cottage - help to light the cosy woodburner was on hand which made it the perfect retreat after a walk on a windy beach. Beautiful morning view from the bedroom window. All clean, tidy and a very comfortable bed.

IS THIS THE EXPERIENCE YOU NEED FROM A HOLIDAY OWNER? ANYONE CAN HAVE ANY SORT OF EMERGENCY

From start to finish this particular holiday was a disaster. Recently my husband has been ill resulting in several 15 stitches to his throat and 18 to the top of his head. I thought the holiday started on a Saturday. I hadn't realised it was due to start on a Friday till Sue Toogood phoned me up late on Friday night to ask when we were arriving. I said mid afternoon .Sat.Because of my husbands illness we hadn't been able to put up the Trixie Dog TravellingCrate. so on Saturday we were putting it together. Unfortunately it took us a lot longer than we had anticipated . In the meantime Sue Toogood phoned again and my husband told her we would try to be there by mid afternoon Sunday. Mid afternoon Sunday comes and we had just finished putting up the dog travelling crate. I phoned Sue Toogood and before I had time to explain and apologise she barked out at me do you want to cancel. She was really nasty and gave me no time to explain. She said I'd promised to ring her and she had had to stay in all day. This was nonsense my husband had told her mid afternoon. she had all morning and all evening to go out. Anyway to be concillatory I apologised and asked if she could leave a key. She refused and started barking out i can't stay in for you. I said well we'll wait if you are out. She was just very nasty and totally unhelpful I had paid this woman £479 for this hoiliday. In the end I said I better cancel then. She'd ruined my holiday completely. No way would i enjoy this holiday after listening to this unpleasant woman. I agree we hadn't arrived when she was hoping but she didn't give me chance to explain. So hoildaymakers what ever you do no expect this woman . to inconvenience herself for you. She wants the money but not the trouble. she barked out you won't get you a refund after telling me to cancel. I was a repeat customer. Be careful because if you have an emergency this woman won't help. NO HOLIDAY, NO MONEY AND A RUDE UNHELPFUL OWNER.
