I would have preferred a 25% holding charge until I physically picked up the puppy. I didn’t really want to use an Amish breeder because of what I have heard about their breeding practices. I would have liked to have been told but they were very nice and I do have their vet administered shots. I will take him to the vet asap hopefully tomorrow so she can give the vet a call and maybe find out for me the vets history. I felt a little in the blind but right now he seems fine. Don’t like to judge by what I have heard but more by what I see. I think more info might help the buyer feel more confident in the process. I purchased the pet insurance for now. He was clean and alert. Lots of energy.

Most everything and everyone was fabulous. My only complaint was that I couldn't find an area to enter the $200 off special. Puppy spot called and credited my account. It was very kind of them. I've been very pleased with my experiences.

From start to finish, PuppySpot made the process smooth and reassuring. Their communication was excellent—every question I had was answered promptly and thoroughly. I received detailed information about my puppy, including health records, temperament insights, and travel updates, which gave me complete peace of mind. The entire experience felt professional and caring. I couldn’t be happier with my new furry companion!

Lots of beautiful pups to look at. Everyone I talked to was lovely, not pushy, very pleasant and helpful. From the person I called from the website to the person who was arranging transport and the transporter. Great communication every step of the way!

Puppyspot sells sick dogs. Beware!!
I flew all the way to South Bend Indiana to pick up my 11 week old puppy since the alternative was a 35 hour drive or putting the dog in the cargo hold of a plane that is not a direct flight and god knows what would happen during the change over between flights or in the cargo hold - during a heat wave in the midwest in late June - which seemed traumatic for the puppy at best. That should have been my first sign that this site doesn't care about the dogs - flight nanny was not an option - instead they shuttle the animals like inanimate objects. Also they wouldn't let me talk to the breeder until I had already flown out to the midwest from the west coast and I had several questions that they refused to answer. They claimed I would get his number 48 hours before but they gave to me 24 hours before well after I had flown out - I also had to leave 4 unanswered messages and finally reached the breeder on the 5th call to him. When I first saw my dog, he didn't look like his photo, was very underweight and had very loose stool but I assumed that was from the stress of leaving the breeder. The breeder was amish or menonite and likely had him outside in poor conditions with little food. When I got home a few days later, I had him checked by the vet - and ran his stool as he had incessant unbelievably smelly black diarrhea 10 times a day - he was not sleeping and was crying/whining nonstop and he was very lethargic. He had significant levels of Giardia that took three rounds of Metronidazole and panacur to cure and was very ill for over 6 weeks. This cost me over a thousand dollars at the vet and was 6 weeks of no sleep, daily baths, bleaching and steaming everything he touched in the house and bleaching the grass every time he went - which was all day long. The stress of no sleep and his illness was unbearable on my family. And all Puppyspot did was reimburse $150 after making me send in all the vet documents and lab reports several times. That felt like such an insult for a dog that was almost 20 times that price. Even the first round of treatment was twice that 'reimbursement' amount. I am so unhappy with this site - very unprofessional. I think a much larger discount to the purchase price is appropriate.
