5 day fresh has been a game changer

Our Bengal cat has been on a mix of raw and wet food since a kitten. He always does better on raw (stools, weight management etc) but was very very fussy and would turn his nose up to food we put down on a regular basis. He has suffered with a couple of bouts of no eating at all, one that resulted in hospitalisation. We have tried all sorts, money no object to try to find quality food that he likes. We recently tried him on 5 day fresh raw food from Purrform and it's been unbelievable to see the difference. He is dead keen, eating more than he ever has (even through the recent heatwave) and is putting weight on nicely. He has loads of energy and there is no waste as he licks every bowl clean.

Exceptional

Our Siamese developed a condition that even RVC hospital (we are talking eye watering costs, too) was unable to diagnose. IBS was just a “side effect”. We tried every cat food under the sun, dry and wet, dietary and not, processed, steamed, every flavour… No dice. The cat would either refuse or eat and vomit, continuing to lose weight and getting increasingly dehydrated. To the point that RVC vets suggesting that maybe putting him down was a better option. Then out local cattery (huge thank you!!!) recommended this raw food. It’s been over a year now. Our cat is pretty much back to normal and back to his normal weight. His stomach is still sensitive but it’s an issue if he does a runner outside and eats something that he shouldn’t… That’s product. Service - we are 30 min outside of St Albans, so collection is easy. We only had an issue once, when they packed wrong flavour (and we did not check). Once realised, they replaced it immediately, no questions asked. Our only wish is that they stay this way. Too many “small independent” businesses go down river, quality and service, when the original brains behind them step back or cash out - or when they, chasing your pound, try to scale up too fast.

Stay put with Purrform

We were introduced to Purrform by the breeder we bought "Teddy” our Exotic Shorthair from. She said, "don't go anywhere else - nothing competes" and yep, she was right! We "had" to use an alternative once due to running out of Purrform stock and Teddy turned his nose up in disgust (which is a tough call, as he doesn't have much of a nose). So, we don't deviate - we "stay put with Purrform". Special mention to Sam, who I've always dealt with and is a complete delight; great, uplifting customer service.

Great company

Great company, high quality, highly digestible food. Always reliable with ordering and delivery and always helpful when you contact them. I have used them now for over 6 years, my four Maine Coons thrive on this food. Never any upset tummies and rarely need trips to the vets except annual booster.

Good food for my cat

I've had two occasions to contact Purrform for advice and had quick and helpful responses. Delivery has been exactly as promised, even on Bank Holiday weeks.
My Maine Coon cat has pancreas problems and had lost a lot of weight, as he didn't eat much. He needs a low fat diet that is palatable to him, and the Rabbit flavour meets both requirements. Now he is regaining weight, and is so keen to eat that we can mix his medications into the food. We are delighted with the improvement in his health and his coat quality.

Outstanding raw pet food company

Outstanding raw pet food, combined with fast delivery and excellent customer service.
My elderly cat will only eat this raw cat food and it has literally kept him going for the past 6 months. He's gone from being skin and bone, to returning to his previous body weight and his coat is glossy and healthy. The vet has been amazed by the transformation!

I’ve been a customer with Purrform for…

I’ve been a customer with Purrform for over a year now, after researching the benefits of raw food for my cat who has IBD. My savannah was very poorly and I nearly lost him but thanks to Purrform’s products my furbaby is healthier than ever and hasn’t had a flare up since. He literally licks the plate clean. The customer service has always been amazing, especially Sam who is always happy to help with my orders. Thank you Purrform for helping me keep my furbaby happy and healthy!

Order delayed no refund

Cat devoured the trial pack which arrived on time via DPD. Placed bulk order which was despatched Thursday but did not arrive the next day as DPD had a delay. Items finally arrived Friday at 5pm not cool to the touch. Because I have not taken photos Purrform are refusing to send a replacement or refund the money paid as they state there terms do say delivery could take 48 hours. They have in my opinion little interest in customer retention or customer value and my recommendation is NOT to order from them.

We would once again like to apologise for the delay in your order reaching you.
However, the items were delivered within 48 hours of despatch, as per our terms and conditions. Our parcels are packed in insulated boxes with sufficient ice sheets, to keep the goods below 4c for a minimum of 48 hours. This ensures the products remain at their best and are suitable for refreezing if delivered within this timeframe. This will not compromise the safety or quality of the meat. We have been trading for over 10 years and our packaging methods have been rigorously tried & tested under different conditions & at different temperatures and the packaging and methods we use are more than sufficient to keep the parcels and food they contain, at a safe temperature. We regularly send out parcels on a two-day service, using the same amount of ice as in your parcel, which do arrive frozen, even during the summer months. There were DPD delays to your area, which did affect other customers but all the other parcels were received in satisfactory condition. Please rest assured that at Purrform we are cat lovers and the health & well-being of cats is of the upmost importance and we would never provide advice that was in any way detrimental. We are once again very sorry that you are not satisfied with the outcome, but are unable to assist further, due to the reasons given.

Awful customer service!

Awful customer service!!
I ordered the same food I order every month and the wrong flavour was sent! Contacted customer service who weren’t sorry at all, they made me feel like I was trying to scam them.
Finally got the correct food after having to wait 2 extra days! To then be told as a stockist I wasn’t selling enough and therefore wouldn’t be supplied at the trade prices, resulting in me losing out on customers and income.
Very poor communication skills.

Occasionally we do make mistakes when picking and packing orders, and for this we are truly sorry. We requested a photograph of the incorrect items, as per our terms and conditions. Unfortunately, you were unable to send us a picture on the same day, which caused a delay in sending a replacement. We sent your replacement parcel as soon we received your photograph.

We do not set a minimum order quantity for our stockists because we understand that new businesses often need to place small initial orders to build up their customer base. We would then expect them to start placing larger orders. We review trade accounts periodically to ensure our trade customers are placing reasonably sized orders. During our most recent review we observed that you only place monthly orders for enough food to feed a single cat. Unfortunately, it is not viable to keep you on trade prices for orders of this size. As we mentioned to you before, we will be more than happy to review this decision in future when you are able to demonstrate to us that you have multiple customers and will be able to place large trade orders.

Cats love it & Less stinky 💩

I’ve been using Purrform for a couple of years now, my cats love it, their coats are healthier and their 💩 is less stinky. Never had a problem with delivery and always arrives very well insulated ready to go straight in the freezer. I do wish there was a more eco friendly packaging but I don’t know what a suitable option would be. We are at least able to pop the plastic tubs in our recycle.

Portion sizes work out very expensive

Portion sizes work out very expensive, which is a shame as I would probably order more often. My cats and kittens like it, but as with anything, they go through phases of devouring it, then not touching it.

Never had an issue with a delivery (unlike others I could mention - Theyloveit! - don't touch them with a barge pole!)

Would be good if it came in 1kg sizes at a reasonable price.

As you have mentioned that you have cats and kittens, we wonder if you are enrolled on our Breeder's Scheme?

We use only high quality, human grade meat in our all recipes, which does attract a higher cost than if we were to use lower grade materials. We try to keep the costs down as best we can, and have not had any price increases in more than a year and a half.

Although our product might appear more expensive than other products on face value, cats fed a high quality, raw food diet will need to consume less than cats fed on cheaper alternatives, which does even out the price difference. Customers feeding our food often comment on the money they save on cat litter after making the transition.

Top quality raw food

This company supply the best raw food that you can get.There is a very high percentage of good quality meat and not too much liver like some companies.Thank you Purrform, you also saved our Sphynx cat from lots of unnecessary veterinary treatment as she could not tolerate any commercial food, not even the grain free but with this she has never been healthier.All our other Sphynx are now on this food and have been for some time.They rarely visit the vet now only for vaccinations and health checks.

We are Converts

Received samples from breeder when our new kitten joined us. Our older cat (11 years) was a very picky eater, often leaving, and wasting, proprietary brands. We ordered some for the kitten which the older cat loved and has continued to do so. Now we are converts. Ordering easy, delivery excellent and customer service very responsive and helpful.

Fab product and customer service

Fab product and customer service.
I contacted Purrform before I ordered, they were quick to respond and helped me with my query before setting up an account. We order online as between us all we have 9 cats. Orders are easy to place and delivery fast, we have never had an issue with the orders. The cats love the food, its their preferred brand of raw food. I rotate between Purrform and Katkin, and my cats have never been healthier. Litter boxes better. Happy cat parent.

Quick delivery and great choice of…

Quick delivery and great choice of simple raw meals for my fussy cat with tummy troubles. I liked that I could get something like rabbit, with no fish or other additions, to help me figure out what she’s sensitive to. Both my cats lick their bowls clean with their Purrform dinners, first time in 10 years! Thank you for your excellent products.

Amazing

My British Shorthair has been eating Purrfom since he was a kitten, his first taste being the weaning paste.

He absolutely loves the food and always finishes his meal. He’s tried all of the tub flavours and one of the pouches, each one has been the same excellent quality.

The delivery is always on time and I’ve never had any issues, it’s packaged appropriately and has always contained the exact flavours I ordered.

I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting their cat to try raw food!

Initially tried this as my kitten was…

Initially tried this as my kitten was refusing to eat much more than licking the gravy of the commercial cat foods. Whilst I did have initial confusion over delivery charges for weekend delivery this is more down to me not reading instructions clearly. Once understood and resolved deliveries have been fine. My cat loves this stuff especially the rabbit varieties and never leaves anything. I use pouches for my own convenience as I found the tubs too big for one cat and sometimes they took too long to defrost and I don't have this problem with the pouches which defrost even in emergencies within 10 minutes if dropped in water. Yes its different but your cat will thank you!
