One of the worst payment gateway I have…
One of the worst payment gateway I have ever used. They are Cheater's, they hold funds without any policy violation and when I am asking for the violation details they are not able to provide just copying and pasting the same email format. While I have already provided transaction related invoice and details. Can't expect that their team is literally dumb, they have no sense and understanding. Almost 1 month has passed, I think they don't have money & they are holding user's funds to manage their cash flow.

My Settlement is on hold from past 20 days, team have asked for certain details and i have provided to them after that no update nothing running behind them like stupid.
I will recommend the service of the team is very poor.
They will ask for 24 to 48 hours for a call back is this the way you'll work.
Just spoken to one of your colleague named Amandeep he said you will get a call in a while sill no response is this the way you'll work..

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!
First and foremost, I am appalled by the utter incompetence displayed by Razorpay in activating accounts. Despite submitting all required documentation and fulfilling every supposed compliance requirement, my account remains inexplicably inactive. The lack of communication regarding why my account has not been activated is beyond comprehension. It seems that Razorpay operates in a black box, leaving customers in the dark about their account status and the necessary steps to rectify any issues.
Furthermore, the complete absence of detailed explanations as to why compliance requirements are not being met is utterly unacceptable. Razorpay provides no clarity on which specific documentation is deemed inadequate or incorrect for onboarding purposes. This lack of transparency not only reflects poorly on your company's professionalism but also demonstrates a blatant disregard for your customers' time and effort.
Adding insult to injury, Razorpay offers no recourse for customers who wish to delete their accounts. This lack of a basic feature demonstrates a shocking level of disregard for customer autonomy and privacy. It is unconscionable that customers are trapped in a system they no longer wish to be a part of, with no means of extricating themselves from Razorpay's clutches.
In summary, Razorpay's handling of account activations, compliance requirements, and account deletion is nothing short of disgraceful. Your company's abysmal service, coupled with a complete disregard for customer satisfaction, has made my experience with Razorpay one of the worst I have ever encountered.
I demand immediate action to address these issues and provide a satisfactory resolution. Failure to do so will only further cement Razorpay's reputation as one of the worst, most incompetent financial service providers in existence.

Stay away from them, worst possible customer support
What the hell is wrong with them? There is literally no option to talk to anyone in Razorpay. They have held up by KYC for 2 weeks now.
I just wanted to get my bank account verified which they are not doing, and they have shut off any form of customer care number. YOU CANNOT CALL THEM AT ALL.
WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I HAVE SEEN.

Third class customer support system
Again and again razorpay reply to same things to customer that raise concern in his given support link. But there support team not going his own link and checking that really there available support option. there is no option there to create ticket or contact to customer support person to mobile or email. also after login in razorpay account. there no any option given to customer to contact to support how? so its third class payment service providers and wasting the time at all.

Beware of this company
Filed a dispute with Razorpay over a fraudulent merchant their responds was "we are unable to process a refund due to insufficient funds in the merchant's account" i ask if they are still supporting the merchant by accepting further payment now that it is proven by thier own investigation that this merchant is fraudulent. No direct reply from Razor pay.

for bug support on test mode - we need KYC
As a web developer, I find it challenging to work with Razorpay because their support system requires a live domain, which I don't have yet due to their KYC policy. I've completed 85% of the KYC process, but I still need to submit some terms and condition links.
I need to integrate Razorpay's gateway into my website for testing, but I'm encountering bugs in their web integration. I want to resolve these issues with their help, but I'm stuck because I can't run test code without clarification on these bugs.

Worst Company Ever
I have been accepting payments from Razorpay for a while now and as a Freelancer, Most of my clients are international and 99% of my payments happen through Stripe & PayPal and I rarely get any payments on Razorpay.
One day, I got a big order and Razorpay decided to block payouts/settlements from the Next day. I did contact the team and since the 22nd, they've been doing nothing but asking for proof for 600 rupees. That's right, they think I can be scamming someone for $6.
I did comply and send invoices anyway but then that wasn't enough. They then asked for screen recordings of me "actually delivering". They won't care about your client's privacy or whatever. Terms & conditions are just a joke to them.
The support team has no idea what they are doing. If you are a freelancer, I highly recommend you to use Stripe & PayPal for payments (they aren't any good too but they are 10000x better than Razorpay) and if you need to accept UPI, just share your phone number to accept payments.

Wait for 24 hours with some new illogical question
As i am the merchant we will not recommend to use razorpay as a payment gateway.
1. They do not care about your business after onbording
they do not care about your terms and condition, refund and cancellation of your business.
2. They will hold your amount without any proper explanation.
3. They will tell you to submit such a document which is not relevant to your business.
4. They will not give you the call support you have to wait for 24 hours for a mail reply.
5. In every new email reply they will ignore the previous communication.
6. They will tell you our banking partner has .... if you will ask for that so called banking partner prove of mail they will not give you any thing.
7. whoever is replying to your email they do not know what is going.
8. They will ask you to submit your customer aadhar card how has already purchased from you before 2 month.... :0

Recently I have created Razorpay account for my business.Clieny paid the amount but after two it says. Your account got deactivated for further settlements contact support or raise a request. Also I can't raise a request from my account. Support ticket says. Have to wait for 120 days. Why should I wait for 4Months. Even The big banks refund the amount in just 7 business days. What is the problem with razorpay. I need my amount back.

It is happening with me they will debit your amount without any receipt or notice they will hold your settlement they ignore to resolve the main problem.
They will start a loop of irrelevant questions and the loop will get active after 24 hours you will feel like why I have used Razorpay for our company.
There chat support is very wonderful garbage they don't know what to do and they are not there to help you instead they reply you the same "" I will forward this issue to our team "'
I am facing this twice now still waiting for 24 hours and with some new irrelevant questions.
I have all the records and email communication with them which I am keeping to start a legal battle.

After Submitting what was asked on 15 Feb 2024 by Razorpay. Razorpay replied with the same irrelevant questions which was asked 1 month before.. there is no use of submitting what they are asking. Again again the same loop.
I just replied them to read the mail what they have asked we have submitted but they even don't bother to open the mail and read it.
Let see again waiting for 24 hours I will wait back here just waiting for 24 hours.

Good when started out but it's a scam now
When we initially started using razorpay it was a great option on the market, now as of 2024 its becoming worse every day. No support, every transaction is stuck in settlement and no proper reply from their team. Live chat used to work and now it does not.
A would suggest to not create any account with them specially if you are accepting international payments. A NO GO options for online payments. No deadlines for when tickets will be resolved in case you are able to open one for your problem.
They love playing email email and you will have to wait 24 hours before you will get a response email from them, that too wiil be vague like "we will attempt to resolve your issue soon". And that "soon" is getting a similar email on the next day.
Things are stuck in settlement for more than week now and there is no indication of when or if these will be cleared. Such a scammy practice by the business. Seems like their growth has lead to this, they were a great solution when they were small. There is absolutely no-one responsible for any of the support now.
Things are all over the place with no-one taking care of customers. In the name of support, there are bots implemented everywhere, good luck getting in touch with a real human to solve your issue if you ever face one. And you will be facing not just one but a lot of issues with your account.
Nobody picks up the damn call, I guess chating "bots" are this new thing and they love to go with that rather than having a proper support team.
One time (accidently) I was able to get in touch with a real support person from their team and he had no f*ing clue what he had to do, may be they hired someone right out of their secondary education without giving they any training on what needs to be done.
Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating service and customer support.
Looking at company's reputation, you would think that they would be doing a great service, wrong, that's not what the case is with these guys.
Look for other alternatives if you can.
