Run away from Remitly

Don't ever EVER! Think into send money with this company!! They are a bunch of liars. They will take forever to deposit funds, they will ask to fill a lot of papers so they avoid to deposit or giving back your funds

The worst way to send money

The worst way to send money. I sent money to Colombia, one week later, the transaction is "in process". The only way to have an answer is by chat and it takes 2 hours to be connected. The last time when I got an answer, the Agent put me on hold and after 1 hour I've preferred to end the "conversation ". Totally abusive.

I am already waiting for 3 days for an…

I am already waiting for 3 days for an "express" bank transfer I made. It's supposed to be immediate. Very disappointing, on top of that nobody answers the chats and i don't know where the money they took from my bank account.

THE CHAT OPTION IS WORTH THE WAIT... TRUST ME

I wouldn't rate no app or platform because I had a few successful transactions. It must always come down to the nitty gritty. This is when you have complications and you are anxious of trying to get the funds to the recipient in "urgent need".. Hope's given already and then you see that dropped pistachio ice cream cone icon. Failed Transaction.... As such a time like this is when you test the reputation of your service provider. Remitly is amazingly awesome.

I honestly wonder why there are some negative reviews. That been said, there are a couple of factors that may make it frustrating getting help from customers service. Networks with recipient banks, etc. But there is help. Trust me.

The Chat Option is the best way to go. There is surely a wait time which in some cases is long. The last time I waited for 2 hours. No big deal. I set an alarm for 1hr 55mins. Kept my phone charging and I made sure I didn't close the chat interface in which I was in line- no.19 to be precise.

You may wonder 2 hours is too long to wait.. No it isn't. You could do other things on your phone while you waited. Don't close the chat page, minimise the screen or you may have to get back in line, literally! Lol....

When I had the opportunity to be attended to, it was worth the wait. I had a 17mins session which wasn't a gist time. She was actually working on the issue to get it resolved. In between we chatted briefly, professionally if I may add. So if I am on queue number 19, that means they were attending to 18 people ahead of me with so Lovely customer service like I experienced. Be patient.

The Chat option is worth the wait. Transaction successful and I'm happy.

I have made transferred on 21st of March and receiver haven't received any money and on you website it shows it has been delivered. Your phone is not working your chat is not working your email is not working? Are you still working? No one is picking up phone. No chat service available.No phone service.
