What a lovely way to learn French. My lifetime subscription makes me unhurried and I really like going over each lesson until it sinks in. I've tried with other systems before (and failed/given up) but this is by far the best and I remain determined because it is fun. I really like the reporting feature for when I'm sure I'm pronouncing reasonably and I'm met with the red-circle of failure.
I have a daughter who lives in France and wouldn't it be a lovely surprise to chat in her (now) native language.

Many of the exercises that include pictures are too small to see making it difficult to select an answer. Some exercises would make more sense if the vocabulary was introduced before the lesson started.

I'm just getting re-started. I've had just a little trouble with the app on my laptop. Have not tried my phone yet
Love it so far, but I get bored.
Love it so far, but I get a little bored from time to time. Feels like the same assignments. I don’t mind repetition of the phrases or words, but they way it’s taught is very boring. The immersion is great it makes me critically think. I just get so bored.
Rosetta Stone is user friendly
Rosetta Stone is user friendly, has a practical approach to learning Italian, and immerses one in a whole curriculum of the language. I thoroughly am enjoying the lessons and have a sense of accomplishment.
Great product - poor business practices
The product is incredible - it works and works well. The challenge that I've experienced with Rosetta Stone is from the perspective of the business (pricing) model. After purchasing one product with a set time limit, I received another email indicating the possibility to purchase for life; then a later email about unlimited languages... (frustration sets in). What is the "TRUE" cost of this product? I long for the day when I could purchase a physical copy of something and then own it outright. If, a decade from now, I wanted to install and use the product, I should be able to do so. If you're moving to an immersive model and sell with expiry dates included, then do not follow up with an opportunity to own forever AFTER I've already purchased a product that expires.

Voice recognition bad, try using translation instead of pictures. I get better results with iPhone translation. Not worth the money

I like using Rosetta Stone
I like using Rosetta Stone. I occasionally have a connectivity or functionality issue but it's usually easily fixed by a restart.
After paying
After paying, I used the app for a few weeks every day and then I didnt use it for a few days. When I went back in, it said there was a problem. I thought maybe I didn't use the correct password, so I reset it. Nope, not it. I called the help line, no help. I'm still not able to use it. I'm very disappointed. I knew I wouldn't be fleuent in the language I chose, but I wanted to be able to at least hold a conversation or ask questions. I wanted some knowledge. My trip has been postponed to a later date due to the Covid-19, so I'm choosing another language program and I would like my money back.
