I am very disappointed. It did not hold me in. It rolled down when I took the straps off. I am so disappointed. I spent that money on something that did not do what it’s supposed to do.

The best shapers ive ever used.
The shapers are good quality fabrics and made to last. The get on and off easy. They stay put without rolling. I’m really happy with all choices I have. From wedding garments to everyday shapers, they are the best I’ve used.

Slight Adjustment in Zipper Needed
It was a great fit and excellent for waist slimming except for the zipper that kept coming unzipped during my workout. Usually with waistslimmers, they have a hook at the top of the zipper which prevents the zipper from becoming unzipped.

The design. However I would prefer a lighter fabric that could do the same work. I don't like feeling my internal organs are crushed. A lighter spandex fabric.

Super flattering, trust your gut on size
I absolutely love the swimsuit. It’s super flattering, feels high quality, and I can’t wait to get out in it this summer. My issue was size. Charts are weird for me cuz bust usually has me XL, while waist and hips always put me at 2X, but I’ve always worn XL regardless. I was going to go that route here, but after reading reviews that you should maybe size up if you want comfort cuz of the built in shapewear, and my waist falling on the upper end of the 2X chart, I decided to do 2X. Should have trusted my gut and gone with XL. I still give 5 stars because working through the exchange, Customer Service has been super responsive and made things really easy! Absolutely love the suit though. 2X was close, just not quite the right size for me. I’d say buy based on your normal purchase size.

HONEST TRUTH
Overall, I really like Shapellx, but sizing can definitely be tricky.
When I first started ordering from Shapellx, I was around 260 lbs at 5’4” and would order a 3XL. At first they fit great, but they loosened up pretty fast after a few washes. I’m currently around 190 lbs and now order XXL. I did try ordering a bunch of items in XL, and technically they fit, but you could clearly see the lines where the shapewear ended under clothes… so I guess they didn’t really fit lol.
My biggest complaint is that the shapewear loses its shape after a few washes. I know they recommend hand washing only, which I did at first, but then I read the instructions more carefully and saw that you’re not supposed to wring or twist them either. That honestly confused me because how else are you supposed to get the excess water out before air drying?
Part of the reason I sized down was because I was hoping after a few washes the XL would stretch into more of an XXL fit. I’m still testing that theory 😂
One thing I will say though: the jeans are trash. You’re honestly better off spending your money on the shapewear pieces, especially the ones that help smooth hip dips.
