Sometimes even though you do the work and submit in good faith. For whatever reason the submission doesn’t go through, and rather then send you a notification that they haven’t received it, you don’t find out your work went to waste and your not being paid till you go looking in your history . Then the job might lock you out from attempting it again because you have “already done one here” even though, they say you didn’t.
When I have previously tried to gain help on this with support, in good faith, maybe there’s an issue with my phone? My network? Instead of engaging with me I got accused of lying and told there was no possible way it could be anything but my personal fault. (Even though I’ve been in the beta program, designed to test for bugs….). Had I got a notification my last job didn’t submit I wouldn’t have taken more on and had the same issue with them. They don’t communicate with you on this.
If there’s an issue with a check after 5:30-6ish then there’s no support to help you. Support can take a long time to get back to you as well, so your 20 min check might become a 40–50 while you’re unable to complete the task till support replies.
Also as someone neurodivergent, being told I have to remember to double check that this system works rather then them having processes that catches when their system isn’t working or has an issue creates a barrier to doing the work, along with incorrect information in the app, timing estimates for jobs based on neurotypical and able bodied people, no mentions of level access for people or if a task requires you to be able to reach a certain height. Not very disabled friendly.
I just wish they engaged more with people and tried to find out what’s going on rather than assume incompetence or malice. I don’t like working for free, no one does.
When the app works, it’s ok. It could use improvements for accessibility and usage for sure, but to do that they really need first to tackle how they respond to feedback and be open to working with people, instead of being dismissive or confrontational.

It was really good that they texted me that there was upcoming jobs in my area, because I haven't looked at the app for a while. I was free that day, so I managed to do the tasks that they required

I've had a great experience with this company! I have now planned a few 'road trips' with them, and they have either raised the fees on jobs where possible, or the first time I did it, they put some extra funds aside for transport expenses! I've always had good experiences communicating with the support who have helped me to book jobs off for me to complete in bulk on days that work better for me (one of them was Nikki), and have helped me when connection issues mean the job has failed to submit. I sense that they have great trust in me as an 'employee', so I feel very valued by them.

Great company, helpful and always ready if you have an issue with any job. From describing what's on a billboard to tasting amazing meals and drinks it's an awesome experience you get paid! Payments are always quick when you decide to withdraw and if not there is an automatic payment at the end of the month.

The app UI is really straightforward and easy to use. I can view all the required tasks before I accept or start a job so I know whats going to come up and there wont be a surprise awkward task. The auto navigation through the jobs is great, but sometimes I would feel more natural if I could navigate through sections at will, depending on the store layout, rather than having to complete them in order. Also taking pictures in the app is a little slower than using my phone camera. The team have always been really helpful, happy to answer any queries, stupid or not (and I've had many). I've been mystery shopping off and on for a couple of years with a few different companies, but Shepper is definitely my preferred one.

I’ve been using Shepper recently and it’s been a great app to earn a little extra cash. The jobs are very straight forward and well explained and the app takes you through the process as you go so it’s not confusing or difficult. They are usually quick to respond to queries and will go over and above to help you resolve any issues.
My only complaint is when you select multiple jobs in the same shop you have to start each as if you're outside so you have to leave the store and reenter to start the job. It would be great if these could be linked.

Great range of jobs, from quick and simple to more in depth, great way to earn some extra cash. The Shepper team are friendly and helpful and the job details are clear and easy to understand. With an amazing community on Discord to ask for tips and just to discuss the jobs. Rate of pay is fair and payment is paid straight into your bank account. So many perks like a free coffee and meal at M & S or a weekly shop at Waitrose. Definitely something for everyone, great if you travel across the country as you can check the app to find a job nearby.

The company is up and down with the amount of jobs in your area and one minute, your jobs can be approved and money being in your wallet the same day as Jon is completed. Other times, they are taking several days to be approved. Also, there is no consistency with job approvals. You can take half an hour plus an hour travelling to a job, do as guided on jobs and have your job failed for no reason. The L'Oréal Glass Skin audits were done perfectly with store photos taken where the products should be. New staff members fail the job as you haven't taken a picture of the whole store which is a ridiculous request and inappropriate to Boots staff yet when you re-submit the job, it is accepted by experience Shepper team members and approved.

New to shepper but so far have found them to be very good. Assignments are reviewed very quickly & payment available straightaway after this compared to another mystery shopping company I work for the reviews & payouts are far quicker!

Good company and opportunities to make money

It's a good app, and the tasks are good. It would be great if there were more available near me, but I figure that the better they do, the more they will get hired.
