--Review Moved up to 4 as post review Response was quick, Transparent and seemed to be wanting to learn / improve for future. I cannot in good faith adjust to full 5 star overall due to the upfront communication and shipping problems, but definitely 5 star response after the fact. The product arrived promptly once sent and arrived in good condition.--
I was sold a solar generator package costing over $2000 it was listed in stock and had a great price. I ordered the item and waited, then waited some more, no contact, no confirmation, Yet my money happily taken. After 2 weeks my order was still unfulfilled. No Contact. I reached out, I received an email several days later that sometimes it takes 7-12 business days to process an order...Fine, I waited a bit more, the designated mark passed and still no action, no movement no initiated communication. I reached out again, requested escalation and got a passing Oh, it must be Chinese new year related, it should be soon, we will reach out. More days have passed. Nearly a month. My order still sits unfulfilled. Hoping this negative review will spark some action! This is unacceptable from the delays, lack of communication and lack of transparency selling an item in stock which they are obviously waiting on to arrive from over seas before they can ship it out... I should have bought it from Amazon and paid the extra, I would have had my need item weeks ago. If this gets addressed and resolved promptly and I have my Item successfully in hand, I will revise this review.

One guy I talked to was super helpful. Another guy I got didn’t seem to know anything and would have to “look up” information but wouldn’t come back with anything. Was very clear he didn’t want to help/answer questions.
I was able to track down the first guy I talked to and placed the order with him. However when it came to shipping I received a notification when the wires and small pieces were to arrive. They still ended up showing up a day early which isn’t a huge deal but we got it delivered to our shop where we aren’t there all the time.
When it came to the solar panels the only notification I received was when the driver was there on site ready to drop them off… if I had received an email or anything saying they were getting delivered that day I could have been there but instead I had to jostle two kids and try and get to the shop as fast as possible. THANKFULLY the driver had delivered to the area in the past and was familiar with the businesses around and was able to find someone with a forklift to unload it. Just a big mess over something as simple as tracking information…
The racking we ordered by Sinclair was great. I spoke directly to both the Sinclair company and to Collin that was in charge of the shipping company. He was very helpful in communicating when the driver was expected to arrive and then gave me a 45 minute heads up.
Overall I liked how everything we supposedly need to get the solar up and running was already put into a kit for us so we didn’t need to figure out every little piece that goes into connecting it. (It’s winter here so we can’t set it up until spring, so hopefully everything is there) As long as you get a knowledgeable/willing to help tech you should be good.

Due to shipping through FedEx my experience has been greatest unpleasant to say the least and I've only been able to half the work required for my solar set up to be working. Though I will say that the team has done a great job trying to help me figure out what happened.

Currently, I am utilizing a Delta Pro Max backup power system in my residence in Puerto Rico. Given the inadequate lighting infrastructure in the region, this system serves as a reliable backup solution. With a single battery, the system can provide illumination for several hours, exceeding 18 hours. I am eager to acquire additional batteries to extend the system’s lifespan to several days rather than hours. As an electrical engineer, I highly recommend these batteries due to their cost-effectiveness and superior quality.

Never got shipping information until all items were delivered. Received most of my order within 6 days. I called at 10 days to find out where the rest was because I never got any shipping/tracking info. They said they would look into it and call me back. No call, but received the rest of my order the next day. After all items were received I finally received another email saying all items have been delivered. Something got totally lost on this order. I still trust you guys because of the YouTube videos on the Solar Lab.

From the vantage point of my comfy chair by the wood stove, a foot of snow and ice outside, and all the essentials on the farm now (finally) connected to solar, I give a huge shout out of thanks to the folks at Shop Solar for hanging with me through all the various challenges over the past few months!! This has been a somewhat complicated install serving and 3
dispersed out-buildings and my house 500 feet away from the solar plant at the barn. I went with EG4 12000xp inverter and all-weather batteries, 2/0 direct burial Al wire for the connection between buildings. Through it all ShopSolar was always there with quick and informed responses to my many emails (even on Thanksgiving Day!). I have been dealing with an issue on the system purchased for over a year. The system worked well for about 9 months and then started having issues with the inverters communicating with the integrated BMS on the Kong elite max 19k. Shop solar’s customer support and service has been excellent. Jayson and his team worked with me and the OEM tirelessly to get to the bottom of the issue. They were a great customer advocate during the issue. I am currently waiting to have the final resolution implemented. Thank you shop solar for your support.
