Sleep Cycle is an intelligent alarm clock that analyzes your sleep and wakes you in the lightest sleep phase. Waking up made easy.
Not bad at all, great to track your sleeping and provides much details!
I attempted to activate the free subscription for Sleep Cycle as part of Revolut metal, but the partner link was not working due to a technical issue that Sleep Cycle acknowledged.
After being told by customer service that the issue was fixed and to click the link for my subscription to be automatically linked to my account. I did this and therefore reasonably assumed the partner subscription had been applied. It had not.
I was then charged £34.99 for a full annual subscription at the end of the 7-day trial period.
When i contacted Sleep Cycle, they said that i would have to contact apple. When apple rejected the refund request they said they couldnt do anything, even though this is their app and caused by their internal error.
Be very cautious when activating partner or trial subscriptions - customer service doesnt care to help you
Seems like a scam. I have been using it for years but like others here, I am trying to buy subscription - for a family member - but there is NO pricing on website - just a ONE YEAR GIFT subscription. There is no way I would buy this because it seems that the recipient would be hit with massive charge to continue after the year is up ... why the secrecy around subscription costs?
I’ve had this app for 10 years. I contacted customer support to help me set up a premium subscription so I could sync my data to a different device. But the customer support is unhelpful and just don’t care. They just suggest irrelevant fixes, almost as if it’s an AI agent responding. I’ve gone from an ideal customer: long time original app user, and actively asking them how to subscribe and pay more for the app, to being incredibly frustrated with them
This company is nothing more than a SCAM! My credit card was charged without my authorization, and I am unable to get them to process a refund. They keep giving me the run around, so now I have to call my credit card and have them reverse the charges. Avoid this company at all costs.
It should tell us a lot that there is no way within the app to interact with the company. That leads us to have to leave feedback in places like this and hope that they are listening. I highly doubt that they are. While they have made some nice graphical improvements, there are two things that are still lacking in this sleep app:
1) I wish you could edit your sleep for the day by adding naps or adjusting the wake time for those mornings when you silence the alarm but then decide to fall back asleep for a while more.
2) While the app shows the elements of sleep each session, it does not tell you if the amount of time in each phase is acceptable. We known"the score" but cannot tell from the app if we are winning.
Despicable, money hungry company. Trying to charge me a monthly subscription for access to features I’d already paid for a lifetime access to. Customer service is one of the worst to date.
They charge subscription even if it is cancelled
I have tried many sleep quality recorders and I have to say that this is the best one. Even 10 times better than Fitbit. The only downside is that they only have one payment option-which is to pay for the entire year. There is no monthly payment option, so I have to wait until my paycheck that my rent doesn't come out of.
They are out of touch with the global financial crisis.
Still, a good app that tells you EVERYTHING that you want to know about your sleep.
Paid for premium and wasn’t allowed to access any of my data or recordings, app is very faulty, don’t waste your time
It is unacceptable that they tell the customers to charge the phone over night, concidering the risk of fire.
Following this app is one of the best things I've done in a long time.
HOWEVER, REMEMBER INSTALLING THE APP IS NOT ENOUGH.
One will have to change the habits as recommended in the app. It can be difficult, but when you see the improvements in the reports every day, you become more motivated to make an effort. I only changed 4 things, but not that it has been easy. I've had the app for 1 year and can't live without it.
1) I used to go to bed so that I could get a minimum of 6 hours of sleep, but when the app told me that I had only gotten barely 5 hours of sleep out of 6 hours in bed, I am now in bed for a minimum of 7 hours so that I get at least 6 hours of sleep.
2) I try to avoid screen activities half an hour before bedtime, and just relax.
3) Trying to go to bed before midnight (I often went to bed at 2 or later in the past)
4) I take a nap during the day if I can see on the app that I haven't slept enough.
These 4 things have made me much more healthy and balanced throughout the day. And the best thing is that I no longer spend time wondering about little sleep. I know what it takes.
2 things I'm missing:
1) That you can continue the measurement on the app after you have finished it in the morning. If, for example, you take an extra hour or if you take a nap later in the day, it should be possible to add this to the daily measurement.
2) the quality of sleep is not shown as a weekly avg. and I can't see how it is measured or what the normal is for this parameter, so difficult to change it and follow whether you improve it.
I love the app and how much data I get out of my sleep. It's helped me improve my sleeping patterns, and got me to pay more attention at the quality of it. There's only one thing that I really wish it improved on - there's currently no way to update the alarm once it rang... only to disable it.
I just bought the Premium subscription from Sleep Cycle to track my sleep through my Apple Watch Series 7. However after the purchase my app won’t open and the app forcecloses and won’t start.
I tried to turn my Apple Watch off and on, restart and reinstall the app but the problem keeps occurring. Please fix this problem or return my money.
It's impossible to cancel the subscription. Everytime I try, i get the message "An error has occurred".
I tried to cancel it from various devices, with different home wifi's and with mobile internet. Now I have to write an email to the support, just to cancel the subscription. Scammers!
I do not understand why all my friends gave me direct recommendations to use the app. I found it not useful, but due to the fact of how happy people using this application are. I believe the reason might still be in me.
maybe there is something I am doing wrong?
Don't activate this APP which is pretty difficult to avoid paying 50$ for. It is pretty hard to terminate the trial period, I think it is, of course, is made this way to trap the user. The app is fun, but it did not provide me with any significant value, especially considered it is very expensive. I like to buy an app and upgrade it to a premium version if I like it, I don't like when it automatically enrol You after 30 days and debit your account for 50$ per year.
