this company is a scam at best, if you want a company that cannot handle money or your escrow account this is the place for you, over charged for my taxes that I have to pay my self. customer service is friendly but does nothing, repeat over billing on transfers from my checking account.
That SLS is a great company.
The Agents that take my calls are always so courteous, professional, and understanding. The one thing I wish the Company did was to allow customers with a missed payment to put it on the back of the loan. We have been here 19 years, and we want to keep our home. Horrible Automated System That Repeats
Horrible Automated System That Repeats. Selected all the correct prompts and entered account information that would just route me to an operator for it to restart the automation system. Not sure if they are just hanging up forcing the system to restart the questionnaire but it took me over 15-minutes to find another way to reach customer support about an escrow question. Save yourself time and press 8.

I hate this company...THEY CALL YOU, and if you answer, it says please hold for next representative it keeps repeating and then hangs up.. so basically I'm done answering their calls..... Hopefully I'll be done with him within the next year anyway....

I took out a HELOC and paid my monthly payments through my regular banking bill pay. The challenge is that SLS doesn't send their monthly invoices on time AND the monthly payment has changed every month for the past 6 months and some months by the time I receive the invoice, I've already paid the wrong amount. I tried upping my payment by $100/month but just last month it wasn't enough. I can afford the payments no problem and despite being middle aged have NEVER had a ding on my payment history until now and they were also my first for a late payment fee...of $99. You have to let your customers know what their payment is unless you are expecting us to be psychic. They also rarely, if EVER reply to email once your loan has been funded so get ready to make customer service phone calls and wait on hold.
