Great Course

I am very pleased with ITTT. I did 170 hours including Online Teaching. The cost was right. The web site is terrific. You really have to put in the time and earn it between the harder chapter tests and all the writing assignments. You get rewarded with a lot of knowledge, resources, and job search help.

Teaching for Online mini course = not worth it

The "teaching for online" auxiliary course was flimsy by comparison to the main 120hr course. The content, in my opinion, focusses too much on general tech knowledge and not enough on online teaching strategies. The course did not have its "finger on the pulse" of the needs of the online teaching in modern day.

Thank you for your four-star review, Kyle. The TEO course does indeed focus on general teaching and technology knowledge. Most online teaching organizations have their own learning platforms, teaching strategies and even lesson plans, so to go into too much detail in any area would be, for many, superfluous. Having a solid background in the general principles allows you to adapt to the situation you find yourself in once employed. We are constantly adapting our materials to keep them as up to date as possible.

Great choice for TEFL learning

I did a lot of research before enrolling into a TEFL program. ITTT was listed as one of the best places to earn my certificate. Overall, ITTT is user friendly and flexible. The course material is very straight forward and easy to follow. It's easy to get through the course as quickly as desired. It's worth the money. I recently finished the 220 Hour Masters Certificate.

Work at your own pace. Great videos. Instant feedback on your test.

I got the 170 hours course. I liked this course because you can work at your own pace. After each chapter there is a test. There are some tricky questions. You get graded immediately. Some chapters were short and others too long. The videos described the contents of the lesson very well. I am presently waiting for my diploma and will start working soon.

Hi everybody

Hi everybody. I am Zeynep Sulaimankulova from Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Central Asia.
I just finished my 120 hour online TEFL course a few days ago. It was a wonderful experience for me in improving, especially my teaching skills to a new way, I learned and benefited a lot from this course.This course exceeded all my expectations! It had great content and it was very informative. What impressed me the most about this course is the quality of the videos, the chapters followed by tests as assessment, the ability to go back and reread chapters before finishing the tests.
This course not only gives a refresher of English language components, but also has helpful lessons concerning to lesson planning, techniques of teaching, how to evaluate and test the students, the ESA methodology, different approaches of teaching special groups and so on. Moreover after each theory you have practical tasks like observing and analyzing the video lessons from the point of the ESA methodology. All the given materials including videos can be downloaded and printed out. As an English teacher trainer this TEFL online course has given me great resources which I can later use in my teacher training sessions.
I would like to express my appreciation to the International TEFL and TESOL training team for organizing such an amazing 120 online course which has immeasurable contribution toward my teaching progress. And finally, it was the most valuable journey in life. Thanks a lot.

Able to complete in my free time

Being able to complete the course in my free time was fantastic. Being a single mom I needed to make some more money but getting most certificates to be able to teach was expensive and interfered with the schedule of a bachelors program I am already following. I love the self pacing and the information was great for someone who has never taken any teaching courses. I already have my 2 year in education but wanted something to solidify the teaching English piece. Extremely satisfied.

Having the course was an amazing…

Having the course was an amazing experience. It opens more door for knowledge and I acquired much from it. Learning alone was actually fun because it gives me plenty of time to do research and ponder to the ideas accumulated from the diverse topics presented from Chapter 1 until 10. The beauty of the course lies on every inch presented in each chapter. Every lesson is an experience to grab and opportunity to grow in the field I have chosen. Great learning experience!

The course was very structured and detailed. It provided well described units with really good examples and ideas on to how to teach specific language skills to learners. I really enjoyed the task sheets as they helped to put in practice all the content from the units. I feel confident in teaching English abroad and online.

Excellent resources and good follow-up…

Excellent resources and good follow-up tasks. The flexibility was muchly appreciated. I am sure the materials will be beneficial as I continue my teaching. While I didn't use my tutor it was nice to know I had that support if I needed it. The customer service department was prompt in handling a small technical glitch so that I could get things sorted in a short time.

I highly recommended ITTT online…

I highly recommended ITTT online courses with tutor. Flexible time schedule for students, great studying materials and very nice and patient tutor Tania. It's worthy to improve yourself and get the certificate with ITTT.

Couldn’t ask for more

It was a great experience to go through the course, it has very clear content and lots of ready materials to be used in your classroom.
The course included video lessons that made the comprehension easy to understand and the tutor responded to queries promptly. I highly recommend it.

Tips and Advice From A Procrastinator

I purchased the ITTT 120 hour course with video support in the Spring of 2020. I started two units of the course and then became sidetracked during the coronavirus shutdown in the USA. When July came around I realized I only had a month to complete the remaining 18 units. My approach was to watch the unit video while taking notes and then read the material. The video didn't cover all of the material, but it laid a foundation for me to easily absorb the written material. My only previous experience with ESOL was as a volunteer to help adult speakers of another language in my locality. The training was basic but effective. This ITTT course was much more comprehensive and challenging. The multiple choice questions were cleverly selected. A written summary at the end of the test was required. To ensure a passing grade, the material had to be studied thoroughly and not skimmed over. Upon completion you will have a treasure chest of strategies, approaches, tools and resources to instill confidence in your teaching ability. I loved this course and highly recommend it.

It was a wonderful experience haVİNG…

It was a wonderful experience haVİNG gone through this experienced and qualified institution. I gained an unequal experience coupled with my teaching experience . This course has really exposed me to certain teaching skills which to my best knowledge could hardly be obtained in any others like İTTT. It broaden my knowledge of teaching understanding as well prepared me of tasks ahead.
