I would actually put no stars if that was the option. I purchased an airbolt tag in April. I never got any information nor contact from them regarding my purchase. I get plenty of marketing emails from them though. I reached out to them and they told me that I ordered between versions and they were waiting for the new version to come out to send me that version. Its the end of July and still no communication. I requested a refund. Let's see if they will communicate now.

I never have felt so helpless as a consumer as I have with Airbolt.
I've had it with this company that lies, breaks promises, has the worst customer service that has ghosted me for months now and I never got what I paid for with my subscription. It was wasted money. The GPS tracker has never worked right. I was promised a new one with a cat collar months ago and when I follow up on asking when I should be seeing those things, I get no reply. The company has no phone number. They are based on Australia which if you have a question you have to make an email and wait 48 hours for a response if your lucky. This company is scammers and liars and if you give your money to them for anything, you will shortly understand what I mean. Any good reviews out there are paid reviewers. Ive never felt so helpless as a consumer and had no recourse the get any help whatsoever from the company or the Better Business Bureau of America because they don't deal with companies not based in the U.S. If anyone wants to see the transcript with customer service at Airbolt I can send an email of that. Or look on Reddit where I will be posting it to warn as many people that I can that it is a garbage product and a garbage company. F you Airbolt!
And I believe any good reviews of this company are coming from people paid to do so or people invested in the company to keep the scam going. Its either 5 stars or 1 star and most of those people wish they would have chosen 0 stars if they could. No reviews in between 5 and 1. Hmmm..........

Bought two AirBolts to lock cases…
Bought two AirBolts to lock cases during travel in June 2024. Neither of these kept their Bluetooth pairing so I asked for replacements that worked. I was toldd by their support people to wait until Q1/Q2 to get replacements but this has now gone past and they stopped returning emails. I have tried to be as patient as possible but to date AirBolt has taken my money and left me with two useless products. If they fob you off with “please be patient” read that as “we’ve got your money, now go away as we don’t care.”

In the help files you also need to state better to which device you are referring. Search first on device and then into issue.
As a customer you always see Airbolt but the difference between the devices is weak.
I know they make use of the same app, but you struggle with a particular device.

I've tried to like this product
I've tried to like this product, I was one of the backers so I've had it for a long time here in the UK. I had hoped by now they would have updated the awful App so it actually was easy to use. I just cant get it to do what I want and work. I wanted to put this into a car that doesn't move very often and if the car was stolen (moved from its static location) then it would alert me. This is a bridge too far for this device. The software is still very poor and not easy to use. It now sits on my shelf and I'll check back in a year or so to see if they have managed to fix its many faults, or if the company has gone bust and I've got an expensive paperweight. Nice idea, just still way way way off working like it should.

Ordered 3 Airbolts for our 3 dogs. Activated 2 of them… COMPLETE CRAP! They were tracking our dogs ALL OVER THE WORLD. Im reporting to the better business bureau. Just buy a cheep apple airtag, they work great. DO NOT BUY THESE JUNK AIRBOLTS!!!

Do not purchase this product. Received two Airbolts with GPS in December 2024. Followed the instructions for set up precisely. Neither product worked. Contacted "customer support" (term used loosely) for multiple weeks over a 2.5 month period of time. They put us through multiple hoops, ensuring us the products were functional. Finally, after much frustration, we landed with the highest ranking person in the company who stated the products were not functional and needed to be re-set by him. He re-set them. They still did not work. He stopped replying to us and blocked us from signing into our Airbolt account. Run!!!!!

I bought two of these and one works and…
I bought two of these and one works and the other doesn’t. It has poor reception so sometimes it takes 5 minutes or more to track. The second one stopped tracking two months ago and customer sucks and I cant get any help from them. I cant figure out how to cancel the subscription so they dont charge me again next year. I’m sure there are better ones out there. Don’t water your time.

Advised then the product is about to lose its support and n updated version imminently be issued that i will be sent
The product i ordered is still available to purchase on there site - so other people must have also ordered like me and waiting for this new product to arrive - surely would take the product of the site until its available and just honour those willing to wait when eventually new product arrives as currently holding cash

Doesn't work and horrible customer service
Had issues getting it to sync which was resolved, but then they charged me $14.99 when I choose the free monthly option. Messaged them several times about that and they didn't give me answer or a refund. Now I am trying to return it and am not hearing back from them to get the refund started. Also, this tracker doesn't work. It's currently telling me it's 150 miles away when it's sitting right next to me.

Lied to twice
I was told it was in stock and could be shipped in 7 days. I paid for the expedited service. It didn't show up for 3 months during that time I requested a cancell. My dog got lost in 5he woods costing me $250.00 for recovery. The disregarded my cancell sent it and charged my account. I immediately sent it right back with signature required. A Martinez signed for it on Dec 13,2024. I still got email of excuses it arrived at the wrong office ( the address it was sent from) and did not receive my money back yet. Almost $100.00. A lot for a senior on Social Security but not much to their bottom line. I found this company to have no integrity or customer service.

My son worked for an inordinate length of time to make it work, admittedly my locks are two years old. They did work during my recent trip, but upon returning home, neither I, nor my neighbor could make the combinations work. Ultimately, my neighbor cut one off. The second piece of luggage, I used the old fashioned enlogated, three number lock. IMO, nothing should be useless after a year sitting in its box.
