Fantastic Photography Course
This is a fantastic course. I've been playing with cameras for about 33 years, thanks to The Photography Institute I'm seeing dramatic improvments in my images since starting the course.

I really enjoyed taking this program. When I first started, I had just purchased my brand new DSLR and I had no idea how to use it. I signed up for this program to learn how to use my camera outside of automatic mode, and I am so happy I did! I am now working as a paid photographer and I can't thank you all enough! :D

This course was a great foundation for photography. It helped me as a student figure out what aspects of photography to focus on in order to persue it as a career. The tudors offer honest constructive feedback that really helped improve the quality of my work. I'm not the type of person to self teach, this course was a huge help for me.

The course is designed to enhance my photographic knowledge which great help for me as only a hobby never expecting to be a professional photographer. The instructor who rate my assignment is also good, he wrote a lot of comments which helped me with the course.
However, the web site has technical problems. Recently, I found any jpg photo created by latest PS will be damaged its color while upload either as assignment photo or to the Portfolio section, this is weird.
Great course, excellent community
If you are interested in learning about photography, actual photography and not only the new digital age of composites that we live in. This course will teach you that. It's a wonderful community that is supportive and encouraging, I knew literally nothing and learned SO MUCH. From here I can continue my journey, to learn and grow, and it all starts in camera with a well taken picture!

Great starter course for anyone wanting…
Great starter course for anyone wanting to learn about basic photography. I wish there was more focus for the hobbyists but all in all I learned a lot and the tutor was great.

Great course overall! The content is thorough, and the assignments are challenging, but easy to follow and well-suited to the content learned in each module. My tutor was very knowledgeable and quick to respond on questions/assignments. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this course and would recommend it to anyone, at any experience level. I have already signed up for one of the advance modules!

Loving the course! It offers great course content and it has made me look at the various topics more thoroughly to continue learning photography. Has great insight into the topics, the teacher is very prompt to mark and offers good comments. Highly recommended.

Perfectly Structured Course
This course fitted in around other commitments in my life which was ideal for me. I took longer than most to complete this course because I really wanted to work on the assignments and get the best I could out of it. The online structure is excellent and easy to submit assignments and receive feedback. Each module contains just about the right amount of information without overloading and for me was very current and updated. It’s covered a wide range of topics. The mentor process worked well and to have your assignments marked from leading industry photographers is beneficial and to get their insight also helped a lot. I had considered myself a photographer before this course, completing the course proved how much I didn’t know.

This course provided me a good start to my long way of learning photography. It teaches fundamentals very well. Language of the modules are very personal and gives the chance the take advice from first hand. Also student tutor system is very fast and helpful. They send very long and useful comments on assignments.

Enrolling for this course has been one of my proudest decisions. The past 12 modules have been an amazing journey, learning and gaining knowledge along the way. The assignments were challenging and really had me push myself to new limits. It was so nice to have a tutor there to guide me and provide positive criticism. I feel that this course prepared me to move forward in the field of photography and take my life long passion and turn it into possibly a career. This course has given me the fundamentals to confidently take photographs.

Well done! The time flexibility of online learning was my primary consideration when signing up for this course, but I was quickly impressed with the depth of the content and the manner in which it was laid out. It was easy to understand and with a steady progression. The assignments are challenging but doable. What really make the course (for me) is the access to the online tutor that is assigned to you at the onset. My tutor was responsive, helpful, supportive and constructive.
Integrated approach to the road of photography
The various modules and their graduated application allowed for a consistent and clear progress with respect to the technical aspects of photography and its various professional outlets while the feedback from the tutor facilitated the integration of technique with photography as an art form and as a profession. The feedback was always direct and cast in a positive light and I felt supported along the way in a more personable way even though the course is online.

As an Engineer, I studied a lot in my life, but I never had such an comprehensive training like PI. The course is right on point and can apply to any level (beginner or advance).
The course is not only very educational, but also a good way to reset your mind and direct your focus in art in general, and photography in particular.
I will definitively take the advance level course in the near future.

New at Photography
I started the photography course knowing only how to click the button on the Auto setting. As I completed each module, my skills and confidence grew as well. I can proudly say I have a strong basis of my cameras functions, photo settings, composition and lighting. The course is well worth your time to enroll. I plan on taking the advanced classes.
