A Photography Course Worth the Money

I have always enjoyed taking photographs and wanted to one day learn more about photography; that was made possible by The Photography Institute and their cheaper fee compared to other photography courses I had considered.

Since enrolling in The Photography Institute course, I have learned a considerable amount, but not limited to learning about cameras, its usage to how to shoot in manual mode. Also, I have learned about f/stops and other shutter speed.

Learning through the Photography Institute, I have been able to work at my own pace, and the assigned tutor is great and provides constructive feedback, which I have also learned from.

I would definitely recommend this course.

Good course, ideal for beginner photographers!

Good course, I like the self-pace, the modules are technical but still easy to read and full of good tips, the assignments great for practicing the skills. The course is ideal for beginner photographers.

I am learning a lot but I still miss the practical part of taking a photo and having the tutor closed to me during the shoot. Feedbacks to assignments are fast and timely, good general feedbacks and tips, but so far I miss a bit more personal feedback on how to improve.

This was a great exercise in seeing…

This was a great exercise in seeing light and how shadows affect peoples "look". It is so challenging to put all the light sources (natural, flash, reflections) together. I really appreciated the vanity index as well.

Excellent Photography Course

This photography course is exceptional! George Seper explains in great detail, clear and concise in ever module! My tutor (Steven Vote) was an amazing wealth of knowledge. Tons of support! This course is a must for all who have an interest in the photography world!

Great I have taken 17 courses from NYIP and all four courses from National Geographic and I have learned an great deal, it is excellent!

Great program

My experience at the Photography Institute has been great! I have learned so much that I wouldn’t of ever learned on my own. The mentors and the administration office responds quickly to any questions you might have. It’s definitely different by not being able to have your instructor watch you take the photos to help guide you but your mentor can be reached if you are needing any guidance. The self paced schedule works great with my busy mom life. I like how I don’t have to log in at certain times for classes, I can do it at my own time. I would recommend this program to everyone.

Review of the The Photography Institue

I am very pleased and excited about being part of The Photography Institute program. I had only used "point and shoot" cameras, automatic, of course, all my life. I am currently working on Module 7 of the Program. If you are a complete beginner like I was, I will admit, this course is a challenge. I really struggled with a lot of the modules, but I persevered, and now my camera is always set on manual. My tutor is great, and gives me good feedback on ways to improve. I still have so much to learn, but it is now more fun because I have the basics. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a better photographer.

I have learned a lot from this so far

I have learned a lot from this so far. I like the self pace and module concept. I have not reached the end but think there may be some things missing. Was frustrated with lighting module. Did not go over specific indoor lighting equipment. Excited to keep going.

This has been such an eye opening…

This has been such an eye opening experience! The course is outlined very well, student supprt was so easy to get help from. My mentor Steven Vote, hands down awesome! He kept in contact with me through this whole journey! I could not have asked for anyone better!

Awesome experience

I enjoyed every bit of the school. I learned all sorts of new things about the world of photography, taking pictures, and the in and out of my camera. The tutors are outstanding and are all actual photographer that allow you to see their own portfolios. They go the extra mile to make sure you understand your work and all the assignments. I am now successful photographer because of this school. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to better what they all ready know and wanting to start a career in the photography business.

Ideal for Beginners mostly but great!

This course is definitely ideal for someone still starting out in photography and has little experience with using a camera on Manual mode especially.

So far I did learn indeed some new tricks and also some food for thought stuff however as a fairly experienced photographer up till Module 6 so far it was a stroll.

The notes are easy to read and fun also, the assignments well they did help me take a step back or two in my super fast life.

Amazing photography course!

I´m very happy with my learning experience through "The Photography Institute", i have learnt a lot of photographic techniques and i feel very self-confident myself.
The course is organized in a manner that alouds us students to learn by doing it, first we study the theory and then we put it in practice everything we learn by going out and trying our new photographic skills.

Thank you very much to all the people involved in the Institute, to my mentor Steven Vote, to student support, but specially to George Seper, who has developed such an amazing course oriented to teach us all the Photography secrets and techniques.

I will always be greatful to you all.
