I have not received any editions of my Rake Magazine subscription since renewing it in September 2022 and have been comcerned that I would not receive the editions that had already been publicised as having already been released, as I have been collecting each issue since the magazine came out. Mia promptly replied to my query to confirm that there had been some publishing issues and delays but assured me that I was indeed due to receive them once the publishing issues are resolved. She has provided me with the ability to follow up with her if they do not arrive soon. I was happy with her prompt response and explanation of the issue. I also have a way to escalate and ensure I get the missing issues if problems do continue.

Joke of a company
Joke of a company. Awful. The company is laughable to say the least, they have no clue what they are doing and are clearly edging toward closure. The retail side has already been taken down from the website which says a lot. Refunds take ages to be processed, unresponsive staff, the list goes on. Never again.

After enquiring about the status of my subscription (from the US), I received a prompt and detailed response from Freya in the client service team regarding certain fulfillment challenges. The response also included confirmation that my subscription was indeed live and had not been lost.
I appreciated that the response was not canned--it referred to me by name and Freya was very courteous and engaging; and followed up to my note of acknowledgement. That makes all the difference. Well done, Rake and especially, Freya! Cheers.

Don't risk it. Too many issues with returns.
Fine unless you need to return anything. I spent weeks dealing with FedEx and international customs myself as The Rakes' customer service is non-existent.
It's now been ~8 weeks since The Rake received my return. Emails stated they couldn't do a refund to the credit card I used for the purchase, they needed to do an international bank transfer?? I provided them the details required then they told me they wouldn't be refunding me, and that I needed to contact Stripe for my refund??
As with other reviews, I finally got onto Freya who was courteous but clearly doesn't have authority to do anything other than provide email updates.
