Joined TradingView with the goal of growing seriously on the platform and managed to build my account to nearly 900 followers. While the platform has potential for exposure, my experience has been very disappointing.
I received a lot of negative and toxic comments, and the biggest issue is that I almost didn’t have control over them. I wasn’t able to delete comments or block users, which made it frustrating to maintain a professional environment. Even after reporting abusive behavior, it took a long time for any action to be taken, and in some cases users were only banned for one day, allowing the same toxic behavior to continue immediately next day.
TradingView can be useful if you're looking to grow an audience, but it feels very unsupportive for serious users who want to build something professional without dealing with constant negativity and weak moderation. Their support was worthless in resolving these issues.
I closed my account and will lose all my followers, but so be it. I prefer to start over on a platform that actually supports its users. I invested significant time into building on TradingView, and the way these issues are handled raises serious concerns about how the platform protects its creators and manages its community long term.
They keep saying that we need to update…
They keep saying that we need to update the alerts in order to receive. I think this is the 10th update in a month and thats for 1 strategy, didnt mention the others yet. After updating the alert just works for few days. Tried wirh many other strategies to see if its on the stratwgies end or on tradingview. After 1 month of testing i realised its on Tradingviews side. This means our winrate is determined by Tradingview!
I hope there will be developers who can develope something better. With a costomer service that is receachble and not a 1 way message.

I"ve been a long-term subscriber, love the charting but really feel annoyed that there is ABSOLUTELY no way to contact customer service. Just now, I was on chat with the dumb useless ai for like half an hour bringing me in circles. Honestly, subscribers should have a way to contact support!!! Really bad business practice!
Poor service, Greedy company.
Terrible data lag, bad customer service, poor overall experience, and today I just got an email about a price hike to all their plans because they have implemented new things of which I haven't seen none. They are the absolutely worst.
Worse than before
This used to be my favorite trading analytics platform. I still use it, but now TV is lagging far behind its competitors in new advanced features, especially those based on AI.
Terrible support experience
There was some issue with a published script and the support keep sending me copy pasta of things irrelevant to my question.
The bot doesn't even recognize their own email addresses.
God forbid you need help with something on this website.
Paper Trading is shit
The only and great platform to trade on, links great with all brokers. The platform is almost a 10/10.

Chatbot has limits on trials it informs you about once you reach them. Most of this limit is spent navigating terribly vague, generic canned responses. Contacting support requires a paid plan. The features and pine are nice, but its paywalled to oblivion and really not user-centric in any form but entirely built on eeking dollars out of the system.
If you get frustrated by non-personal experiences, this ones definitely not for you.

Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support. I wanted to change my email and they refuse to help me, as when i tried to change it in their settings, it doesnt let me. Absolutely incompetent.
Today as a paying subscriber I could not get a support ticket sent.
I am now more than stunned, having come here to write a review and seeing 60% 1^ reviews. My issue is simply, as a paying subscriber, I don't know for how long, maybe 5 or 6 years, I have just needed support to fix or tuen on a data issue, I discover there is no longer email support, nor a direct support ticket system, just the latest nonsense in AI, which after repeating my issue 5 times, it just went around and around in circles. I could not get the AI assistant to send a support ticket. The AI was unable to resolve my issue. Here it is: "I am on a Premium plan.
The Strategy Tester shows no trades on any CME futures contract (NQ1!, ES1!) on a 15-minute chart.
The script compiles and loads successfully with no errors. The same script produces trades correctly on AAPL.
I need the strategy backtesting engine enabled for CME futures data on my account." Hopefully, something will now change, and I can get on with my day.
Trading View FRAUD. My account was billed even though it was set to NOT Auto-renew
Trading view has literally no customer support. I had my account set to NOT AUTO-RENEW! I have email proof from Jan 2026 that the account would not be billed and would not autorenew. Then they billed me for $650 a couple weeks later. I luckily noticed the charge as it was on a credit card I rarely use, and tried to contact customer service for a refund. They do not have a phone number, period. I talked with the AI chatbot which doesn't record any info for later reference. It generates a generic support ticket which doesn't contain the crucial information I had explained to it. I was still within the 2 week window they give to cancel and refund a subscription (which they had fraudulently charged me) and so the AI bot eventually opened a ticket and I assumed it was over. 2 months later I happen to check that credit card online and see 2 months of interest charges. Thanks Trading View for not refunding the money you stole from me. Now I've tried to reopen another ticket because the first had closed 2 days after I opened it, without resolving my request. I don't know what the status is or even if a new ticket has been opened. This is so ridiculous for a company of this size. AGAIN I reiterate, I had the account set to NOT auto-renew. Tradingview did just that and now won't refund the money. They should also pay for the credit card interest incurred as well. BEWARE to any future buyers.

Charged me $155.40 for nothing. I only have a "basic account, always free". They decided to go ahead and charge me for whatever er reason. I cannot find anyone to talk to and on website they are unresponsive. Poor website and I no longer trust in them.
Getting invreasingly sick of Trading…
Getting invreasingly sick of Trading View. It is an essential piece of software that is so badly maintained with awful customer service. Features come and go with no explanation. The reliability of the desktop app is awful. The Linux version is becoming increasingly useless. It's just taken me 20 minutes to open the app. I've been an annual subscriber for a few years and now swapped to monthly while I try out alternatives and if I find anything else then TV is getting dumped.
Lost live FOREX data twice for days & Zero customer service
I have Tradingview premium.
On 2 occasions I have had no live data on FOREX for 2 days while trading.
Makes any trading impossible.
There is no way to contact support.
Just stuck in AI chatbot loop that goes nowhere & there' no way to escalate the problem.

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. It has become unreliable to the point where it’s practically unusable for trading. Just last night, the trading panel completely failed and the app kept freezing—again. This isn’t a one-time issue anymore, it’s a recurring problem that happens far too often.
What’s even worse are the constant updates and so-called “improvements.” They don’t improve anything—in fact, they make the app slower, more complicated, and far less intuitive. It genuinely feels like these changes are made without any understanding of how traders actually use the platform.
The direction this app is going in is very concerning. It’s clear that user feedback is being ignored.
I used to really like this app, but at this point I’ve had enough. I’m paying a significant amount for a premium subscription, yet I’m losing money because I can’t reliably execute trades due to technical issues.
I cannot recommend this app in its current state.
