It charges a fee for paying with Mastercard apparently, but it isn't a lot, and it offered a good enough price to offset that disadvantage compared to other offers, even if it's not being entirely honest about that price when communicating it to the aggregators. The website worked a bit crappy on a smartphone, but it worked nonetheless.

I am already waiting for three months for a ticket reimbursement, that takes like one minute to verify. Customer service replied once, asking for more time, which has been two months ago, and hasn’t replied since.
They might be cheap, but some customer service questions will come up eventually with flights. I saved a couple of euros, But I would say it’s not worth it, given that the customer service is so bad, and usually there’s a lot of money involved with flights.
I would definitely not recommend
Badest service ever. 2/3 of my original bookings were changed. The customer service didn‘t response to my calls (hotmail told me an estimated time, but each call was cancelled after a view minutes) and I got no answers to my Emails.

Definitely not recommended to book over this provider. We booked flights with them to Iceland with WOW Air which unfortunately went bankrupt - not the fault of travelgenio but the customer service around this was just a joke. When I heard in the news that WOW Air ceased all operations, I called the agency to see what happens with my tickets and the did NOT EVEN KNOW that WOW Air was bankrupt. They Just told me to call later in the week again. When I called again, I still did not get ANY information but few days after the call I was asked per mail how I like the customer service :D Really funny joke.
The best of all the story is that until the day of the flight and even know we never got ANY OFFICIAL NOTICE that the flight will not take off, it always said in the booking overview flight status confirmed. Imagine I had not read the news that well, I would be standing at the airport and no plane is there. Not even speaking of any official apologies or any form of compensation - thank you for nothing!
The website is very user-unfriendly. I can't find anywhere, whether my reservation is done or not.

I booked a fligth from Vienna to Biskek over Istanbul in February. At the end of February I received an E-Mail that my flight from Istanbul to Bishkek has been cancelled. I called at travelgenio and I was offered an alternative flight, which seemed suitable. I got an information via e-mail that the status of our booking was still open. After a while I started to worry and called. Someone on the telephone told me not to worry and that I will receive a confirmation soon. That happend about five times during the last few months. My flight is on the 5th of August and I did not receive a confirmation!!! I can not plan my vacation and due to the worrying about the flight I am not looking forward to a nice trip but just stressed! Last week on wednesday it was the last time that a employee of travelgenio told me not to worry and promised me a solution for my problem until this wednesday. Nothing happend. Not even information - nothing! I really don´t know what else to do and I am afraid that I can not start my trip or that I have to buy a ticket again on my own. I feel lost and really not treated as a customer by this company!

I have booked a flight yesterday and paid via MasterCard credit. Why haven’t I received any confirmation email yet? Could you please explain?
I called the customer care and waited for more than 3 minutes two times but no one received the call. I also sent an email. No answer still. I have paid through PayPal and the money is deducted but when I search my booking number in viewtrip.com, it says "Reservation not found. Please check your details". Also the booking status is OPEN. There is no information on what OPEN means. And I received an eTicket without any pdf or QR code.
All good, no problem with booking tickets.
