Beginner Friendly

I use A2 hosting for its easy user experience and their support team. Today a rep Ash called me and was so sweet and helpful. Besides the great customer service, the speed of my site is much better than my prior hosting. Thanks A2 hosting.

unreliable !

First, you could not relay on thier unmanaged VPS services as there is no backup and you could not install any backup software as they offer container VPS.

Second, thier support unreliable too. I have been told by chat support that I can cancell and have refund for the remening period (9 months). When I applied for a cancellation they reject to make a refund!

3rd, if you have any issue, they support will answer as you have unmanaged VPS! I could not access the VPS after fresh re-installation! They have a technical issue and the support team unaware of it.

Pxyzaiveh B was spectacular

Pxyzaiveh B was spectacular! Calm and informative she confirmed my suggestion to go all in on A2. A mentor Ivan Brozincevic recommended staying with A2 and I will! As well, I'm transferring all my domains from GoDaddy to A2, thanks to Pxyzaiveh and the best Hosting service in the industry. Thanks again A2 for hiring such great Gurus!!!

😡😡😡What's with this CLOUDFLARE…

😡😡😡What's with this CLOUDFLARE VERIFICAtION window that prevents me from loging for hours, under the pretext of problematic internet connection??????????

CLOUDLARE VERIICAtION NONSENSE!!!!!!!!! I NEED ACCCESS tO MY ACCOUNt!!!!!!!! tHIS IS NONSENSE!!!!!!!!!

How could it be internet issue when I can effectively send emails?????

This right here is my very first negative review of A2 Hosting. What is happening???? they have been verifying if my connection is secure for close to 3 hours now!!!!! And I can't access my account and make some changes there!!!!!😡😡😡😡

UPDATE MARCH 23RD 2023.
The problem resolved itself. I finally accessed my account the following day and opened a support ticket. It would appear my ISP keeps changing my IP address, which became an issue with Cloudflare. I hope this not happen again.

A2Hosting is way ahead of the rest

I've been using A2Hosting for many years and have always been impressed by their reliability, well laid out control panel, generous storage and limits that I can work with. But what I like more than anything is this companies' fast turnaround with support, especially via online chat. These guys know their stuff and usually sort out your problems in a fast professional manner.

As well as being a VERY FAST hosting…

As well as being a VERY FAST hosting service, the tech customer support is brilliant. Normally everything goes ok (3 Years with them so far). But when I messed up some files and coding (Yes My Fault) A2 got my sites back up and running in no time at all.
If you are looking for a professional fast reliable hosting service I could not recommend A2 Hosting enough.

Sad change in A2's service.

I have been loyal and with them for two years and paid up for 3 more years...

Problem is emails and lately I spend almost 3 hours on their Tech Support to get a simple email issue fixed but they fix it and it works while I have them on line and the minutes I close the chat, the mail is down.

This ongoing for three weeks now.

Each time I have to wait from 1 hours to 2 hors just to get support as they are VERY VERY backed up.

The Support Representative was very Efficient

The Support Representative was very knowledgeable about our issue. She gave precise instruction on how to resolve the issue and in addition emailed us a link with instructions on the topic. She was very patient and helpful, and gave us the kind of customer service we never got any place else. A2 Hosting is the best we have encountered so far. Thanks again A2 Hosting Support Team

Unresolved request with no explanation

Two issues unresolved and no one can help:
1) domain forwarding that was unsuccessful and ended up having to abort altogether. I was told by about 10 agents to just wait, should take only 2 days. I was told that over a period of one month. The forwarding never happened. There were no issues on GoDaddy's end and A2Hosting says there was no issue on their end but no one could explain why the domain would not forward to A2Hosting. I ended up just keeping it with GoDaddy. I waited for almost 4 weeks and the domain almost expired from waiting for this domain forwarding to complete.
2) Web optimization > No one is able to provide an explanation as to why its taking days to run the web optimization service. I've had this done before with GoDaddy and it took no more than 1 day. Agents can not do anything. No explanation. Completely frustrating. This company is not very helpful. There are clearly some things they just can't seem to resolve.

Terrible support, good speed

The customer support is very slow in replying to your tickets. You need to wait hours. I think this is not acceptable. For live chat, right now, awaiting time is 107 min before you can talk to someone!
On the other hand, the speed of both WordPress backend and live site is looking good for now.
If you just need a speedy website A2 is great, if you think you may need assistance then better stay away.

Their support is terrible, if you need help look for another host. I have been waiting for hours and the average is around 84 minute wait.

Baffling Problem with Email

I had a problem that was baffling. Somehow A2 emails were arriving in an outlook account. Great tech service determined that a few years ago I had set up a forwarding rule. I had completely forgot about it. The rule went to a "Dummy" account. I did this when I was first learning to set forwarding on certain mail accounts. Recently I changed my spam rules and pointed them to my dummy account which then forwarded them to the outlook account. Problem solved!!! Great support and took time to actually trace the problem. Didn't leave me hanging.

A2 Billing made an unauthorised AUD$365 transaction, apologised for the mistake, but won't refund the fees I've been charged

I've been with A2 for 2 years and they sent me an email saying the renewal fees due in October 2024 would be going up to US$431 which is more than double what I paid at sign up. So I enquired about what could be done to stay with them by making it more affordable. They gave me a couple of options and I thanked them and said I'd decide at the end of next year. Then I received an invoice a day later about 11pm my time (Australia) for AU$365 and replied why was I receiving an invoice when my 3 years didn't renew until Oct 2024, then went to sleep. To my horror in the morning I woke up to see the money had been taken out of my bank account by A2 without any authorisation. I asked them to refund immediately to which the Billing Team replied I needed to reply with my pin, my name, my contact details, my email before they could look into it. Eventually they apologoised for the mistake and said the money would take a week to be refunded. I informed them my bank would charge an international transaction processing fee that they would need to also refund. A2 have refused to refund the processing fee and I feel that potential customers should know that if A2 make a mistake with your billing and you incur charges for it, they will not do the right thing and refund the fees you are charged. I have paid for their mistake.

A2 hands down, no question

Have been using A2 and another hosting for over 5 years. A2 has always outperformed the other one. Finally gave up on the other one and migrated everything over to A2. What I like the most about A2 is its excellent support staff, they are knowledgeable and courteous, and really listen to you and try to understand your problem before offering the correct solution.
