This company and the owner Lauren Amiri…

This company and the owner Lauren Amiri are embroiled in tax fraud, more specifically VAT fraud. She does so by increasing the value of the goods when importing it to another country. In my case I purchased jacket top being worth 129 pounds. I was charged 51 EUR over this item, which in no way corresponds to 21% of the total value. She deliberately does this so she can claim back extra money over the VAT payed. She is a scammer and this is a serious warning to never buy from this company!

Disappointed

Iv ordered a few things from aavelle. Unfortunately my last 2 pieces Iv ordered are awful quality. Worn once only once and it’s lost shape and has peach fuzz look. I just can’t believe Iv paid over 260 pounds for this.
I also can not be bothered to contact customer service as they don’t even bother to reply to emails. Terrible quality terrible customer service!

I’ve spent over £5000 on this brand…

I’ve spent over £5000 on this brand since it first launched, which makes this experience particularly disappointing.

I contacted customer service within two days of the 14-day return/refund window (calculated from delivery) regarding an unworn, tagged, £179 item that didn’t suit me when I tried it on.

Unfortunately, it then took 10 days to receive a response, and although I understood that I’d missed the refund window by a couple of days, I was disappointed that my suggestions of an exchange or store credit were dismissed.

Even a discount code or something would have been nice as an incentive to continue shopping with them, despite now being £179 down with an item I won’t be wearing.

I don’t feel that a 10 day delay in responding is really in alignment with having such a strict window for organising a return, and I am therefore reluctant to purchase again. For a brand positioned as premium, I would have expected a more considered approach.

Worth bearing in mind before investing in any pieces from their website.

I was very excited about this brand as the clothes look so good in the pictures.. and then I got my order and saw the „Made in China“ label. I was disappointed. Quality is not bad but as I‘m located outside of the UK, had to pay customs. With that, it doesn’t worth it. Not exactly the premium brand as I expected.

Overpriced "Made in China" clothes with odd fitting. The quality misaligned with the price it charges.
Lengthy return process with limited customer services.

I would avoid purchasing any clothes from this brand at all cost.

I had a really disappointing experience…

I had a really disappointing experience with Aavelle. I’ve always loved their designs and have purchased quite a few items from them over time. Recently, I bought a tweed jacket for £260, but after wearing it for the first time, the button was already loose. When I contacted Aavelle’s customer service, their first response was that they couldn’t take the jacket back because it had been six weeks since the purchase date. Instead, they offered me a 10% refund to cover the cost of getting the jacket fixed.

Frankly, I find this response unacceptable for a company selling items at such a high price. When you spend that much on a jacket, you expect it to be durable and well-made. Even if I had worn that jacket every day for those six weeks, it should have held up. But this was my very first time wearing it. I’ve worked in retail for many years, and when a product was faulty, we always accepted returns. I expect more from a company like Aavelle.

Given this experience, I don’t think I will be shopping with them again in the future. It’s disappointing that they wouldn’t stand behind the quality of their products.
