I bought a 6750xt graphics card from alternate even though I could buy it cheaper through Amazon because in the description they said they would deliver next day. After 5 days of no information I sent them an email which they answered 3-4 days later .. They actually didn't have the card in stock and I had to wait 15-20 days for it to be delivered and I told them I will cancel the order. Then they told me I am "lucky" and I will be sent the graphics card shortly after. They gave me a tracking 2 days later and today, 10 days after it was shipped and me messaging them almost every day because it was delayed and then telling me it's probably DHL fault for the delay, they canceled my order without my knowledge and sent me the money back ( I haven't received them yet). I am extremely disappointed from them and lost money and 3 weeks without a crucial pc part (because now the graphics card is more expensive). They didn't even apologize for all of that.Be careful when ordering from them.

Good stuff, if u want to buy keyboard check twice if thats not german type with all ö’s and ß’s. I made this mistake but it was in the description. Still 5/5 fast delivery good packing

Alternate saved our day.
Ein Geschenk war uns in der Bestellorgie vor Weihnachten durchgerutscht, was wir erst am 21.12. bemerkten. Edited* I ordered a Gregory Kalmia 50L backpack from Alternate. The package was delivered in a speedy manner, BUT the item was wrong. Called the customer service hotline, the person was very helpful and the correct item was sent and receives around 2 weeks later.
Wasn't able to get the backpack on time but, overall the issue was resolved smoothly. Thank you very much!

Used alternate for several deliveries over the past years, always 1 or 2 day delivery. I'm living in a city at the moment and it's always been 1 day delivery time here. Back when I used to live in a small town in a rural area it sometimes took 2 days delivery time.

Customer support is really fast and never had any issues with it. Though I only needed to contact them once so far (because of my mistake) and my brother only needed to contact them once so far as well. A cheap USB stick he ordered as a part of a bigger delivery wasn't working. He received another one the day after messing customer support about it. So there's not many experiences this opinion is based on.

Item received defected. The door cant even open and when we could see missing screws the microwave wont even stand properly. Proof of photos were sent to customer service but never heard from them. Do not buy from this website!

I was waiting for several weeks for my order worth more than 1300 Euros to arrive. I kept getting a message that the order cannot be be delivered at the moment. I tried to cancel the order but there was no reaction by the customer service upon my requests. I never received any package and after 2 months I am still waiting for my money back. I cannot recommend that store. The customer service is non-existing.

The rtx4090 video card came in damaged. A piece of the board is chipped with dents from the impact on the heatsink. Wrote to support and after the first response support disappeared and did not respond for a week. Disgusting attitude to the buyer.

On the 6th of May, 2023 (a week after this review has been written) I ordered a gaming notebook from there. The price of this notebook has been reduced from 999€ to 699€.

After 3 Business days (on a Wednesday) (Sundays do not count as Business days) it arrived. The product seemed to be new, as they stated on their Website. They also included the Day it would arrive at, which were Tuesday-Wednesday.

The specs also matched with the ones that were listed on their Website. In case you wanna know them:

For the SSD I went for the Lexar NM790 2TB (M.2, Nvme)

9ms response time (Not sure if that's true, as I don't see a huge difference with my 0.5ms monitor for my desktop. I got this information from other sources, so that may be wrong.)

So far everything is good. Now I do not know how their customer service is, however once I have the need to call them, I will update this review and include my experience with them.

But for now that's it. I received my product and it arrived at the days that were stated on their Website. The product also arrived at perfect conditions and the specs matched.
That's what matters the most.

Update (for the notebook itself): In case you're curious about the amount of RAM/SSD slots, you can replace the 8GB default RAM with SODIMM sticks, 2 in total. The RAM sticks that come pre-installed are 2 4GB sticks.

And for the SSD, there's one slot for it, I replaced the default 512GB SSD with a 2TB SSD and it works without a flaw.

The wifi card that's installed also seems to be fast, reaching between 43-51MB/s download and around 11MB/s upload. (Connected to wifi, there's no Ethernet cable plugged in)

Meanwhile my PC, which has an Ethernet cable plugged in reaches 48-53MB/s download and around 12MB/s upload.
