Didn't realize how exposed I've been; AVG programs keep me covered from many angles; working on-line, malware, anti-virus, having a VPN, driver updates, and their dashboard is very clear. Had to learn couldn't print, either from laptop or online, until I turned Off VPN. As soon as printing done, I turn it right back on.

I started using AVG with the free version. I had been very weary about spending a lot of money on a software protection program since I did have some issues with other companies. I purchased the full protection service and haven't regretted that decision yet. I get messages when I attempt to open a site that falls beyond my set level of what I allow. I get reminders to update, scan, and a host of other helpful things to maintain.

Really happy with AVG. Covered my own business computer with protection for a year. Now I don't need it because my new employer uses their own work laptop with their own anti virus on there. AVG were happy to cancel the subscription which automatically renewed today. I should have cancelled sooner but I became unwell. No fuss. Good protection.

AVG has been exemplary in everything from support to price are second to no other virus protection I have previously used. I have made several requests for assistance to align payments so that all I have are fixed to one date of renewal and every time it was sorted while on the call. The support staff have been polite and very accommodating every time.

Alerts; I have been alerted on more than one occasion of threats and then the programs removed the threat. You have customer for life unless something goes wrong with AVG.

Good products and reasonably priced. Protection against hackers. Tune up keeps my system running smoothly and maximizes speed. Driver updates keep my system up to date. Notifications are easy to navigate and understand.

The AVG products are excellent and more than live up to AVG's claims. Th only criticism I must offer is that their marketing department does not seem to refer to the accounts department. consequently, one gets frequent offers for products that have long been installed and for which numerous renewals have been effected. Neither of the two departments seem to be able to resolve errors, such as duplications of charges

when I signed for this tool, I was told that I am fully protected. However, on a regular basis I receive messages from AVG tool statting that I am not fully protected, and I need to buy another additional option. Very unhappy with this. I will look into getting a tool that will fully protect me long term.

The app is very easy too install and use and it does what it's supposed to do. There has been only one occasion when I needed to refer to customer support and the reply was very prompt and helpful. Very recommended.

Doesn't let you turn it off and won't allow you to stop it loading up when you turn your PC on. These characteristics make it a virus as far as I'm concerned.

awful pop up notifications from paid avg webshield that cannot be disabled. Multiple complaints on the net, and none have been addressed by avg staff with the same tutored answers. Turning off notifications etc does not work.

The constant monitoring, updating and capturing of threats is superior and worth every penny. AVG Tech is like the Eagle, soaring above but with sharp focused eyes and talons ready to attack and capture before any vermon can do any harm.

Although a bit pricy, AVG offers a significant range of both security and performance maintenance that improves my device usage significantly. The setup is always simple and straightforward, and I've had nothing but excellent interactions with customer support whenever I've had a question or issue.
All in all, it's a solid service. The only issue I have is that it's not cheap, and given the current economic climate, it may not be the easiest purchase to make for some. But it is a worthwhile investment for those who have the cash.

I am always confident that AVG is securing my laptop and have subscribed to them for years. I worked for a market research company in 2005/2008 and their go-to company was AVG which were fantastic and I always remembered this so why change what works.

Be aware, should you become a subscriber to AVG intentionally or otherwise, they take the following year's subscription payment from your bank over a month early. When you protest you're advised via a stock message that refunds may take up to 14 business days. This is a dodgy practice by any standard. Imagine the interest they're getting on all these payments taken a month early! I won't be renewing, that's for sure.
