ChefMade meets Hærværk = Excellence
Our review may be the second in English, but I hope it expresses what ChefMade AND the restaurant (Hærværk) we chose meant to us.
To be honest, in the beginning I was a little apprehensive about booking, but as we were getting married and had not planned anything out, we thought this may be an option. It turned out that it was a great idea and a wonderful concept in general. I have know idea of the cost v. value aspects of the event, but for my money I thought we received more than our fare share of value for the evening of our wedding. ChefMade did the following;
-coordinated on our behalf with Hærværk to facilitate the Menu, accommodate guest tastes, and facilitate an indirect exchange of wine ideas. This was done via FaceTime and I am sure depending on your mobile/computing set-up they can accommodate any communications platform.
-acted as the real-time troubleshooter on the day of the event. with a mobile phone number, we were able to adjust timing of Hærværk's arrival
-acted as reliable intermediary for payment to Hærværk (although I followed up with a thank you note and tip to Hærværk)
Hærværk for its part was excellent and I believe that in general ChefMade works only with restaurateurs from Denmark that exemplify what Hærværk tries to demonstrate daily, namely; passion for food, flexibility in execution, and the desire to please the palette.
