We've been using dreamhost for about 11 years and have been really impressed with how low-maintenance it is to operate our website. In fact, things are so reliable, that I haven't had to open a support case until this week. Suffice it to say, dreamhost support is as great to work with as their main product. Our issue was resolved quite quickly, and our support lead was incredibly kind and helpful!

I've been happy with my Dreamhost hosting for many years, but I'm especially happy with the technical help I receive. They do so much for me and communicate clearly about the issues, and they don't just shrug and leave me on my own when something's wrong. I just had a PHP upgrade go sideways and they helped me figure out what installed plugins were causing the failures. Couldn't be happier.

Has it been 10 years? Definitely more than 8. Great thing about dreamhost was not the support but rather no need for support all these years. Everything ran as expected, almost 100% uptime, sufficient knowledge base and support.

I've been a customer for 15 years. MANY times I've reported a problem that I couldn't solve. ALMOST every time, the staff has fixed the problem and told me how they did it, and what I could do next time. AND they did it with kindness and humor. Often fixing it themselves and documenting later. An amazing company.

Understanding tech but not being a tech, sometimes understanding the concept from knowing specifically what to do becomes confusing and frustrating. I had a problem, setting up my email, creating inboxes, etc. They came in within a day if that, fixed the issue themselves. Let me know and I was happily on my way!

I’ve been a customer for going on two decades, and I’m fairly knowledgeable about things so mostly I handle it myself, but there’s always that one time every year or so I run into an unknown and to ask for help, like today. So I opened a ticket. Three hours ago.
Not only is my main problem solved, and it was weird and I could’ve tracked it down eventually, but it’d take a fair few days, but my other little ‘and this is also weird but unimportant’ thing was solved too. BAMMO! DONE.

Website was down to viewers and admin, and they took care of it with kindness and efficiency, disabled the plugins that interfered with the functionality of the websit, restoring it successfully in no time. The team went above and beyond after my site was affected my malware. They cleaned it up ahead of schedule, and helped me get back up and running. They answered questions after their work had been completed to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I really appreciated their friendly, helpful approach!

I'm completely new to site building so I've had quite a few hiccups along the way but the support team at DreamHost have been absolutely amazing. I've had to contact them quite a few times with issues (some hosting-related, and others having to do with Wordpress) and they've always been very responsive and super helpful in their explanations. They've definitely made an otherwise stressful experience a lot smoother.

As a self taught web designer, I was confused about how to enable SSL certificates & get http to automatically load as https.
After requesting assistance with this, Gary from DreamHost Support set it up 4 me in a timely manner. Now all pages of the site I designed for my friend’s beauty salon have the desired padlocks. As a 9 year customer, we found that out-sourcing of technical support and services at Dreamhost was a big loss for us. We also experienced slow site hosting for the past few years, which made us look else where for our hosting (we reached out for help many times, but was never solved). We ported our site to another host and experienced a speed increase of more than double out of the box. We really liked working with Dreamhost, but became frustrated in the lack of speed and extended support.

Dreamhost always seems to be highly recommended online, so I thought I'd try out their unlimited plan to host a couple of wordpress sites and for testing. So far, I've been really happy with the ease of use and quick responses from the customer service. I was used to cpanel but the simplicity of Dreamhost dashboard means its, very simple to 1 click install WordPress or do more technical tasks also. Setting up email for a domain was also very simple.
