Food great. Customer service awful

The food is, for the most part, excellent. Sometimes there is a one off of a bad quality ingredient but it's not the norm. If it were just the food I was reviewing, they'd get 5 stars. However, their company's decision making and customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I'd say it's outright bad, especially on the chat end. Rude, just trying to get rid of you, not being informed and giving outright wrong information. If it were just that I was reviewing they'd get 1 star. So combing the two I average it out to a 3. If you can get lucky enough for everything to always go smoothly and to never need support, you'll love this. Otherwise they will frustrate you to no end.

We LOVE Gobble

We LOVE Gobble! The meals are delicious, interesting and easy to prepare. The portions are larger than other 2 serving meal plans as well, which is awesome since we share ours with our 8 yr old son. The only small thing that I would love to see improved is the freshness of the produce, as a few of the items (such as limes and scallions) have arrived brown/wilted. Other than that, Gobble has been amazing!

By far my favorite!!

I didn’t give you 5 stars because there was an instance where some of my ingredients were missing, but other than that, you are by far my favorite. I love the variety of international meal selections, and the fact that all the meals don’t come with potatoes and carrots like other meal plans. And it’s so easy! I just wish it was slightly less expensive. Thumbs up!

The meals are handy

The meals are handy, the directions are specific and accurate, everything is very fresh however, we have found that the steaks are a little tough so we marinade them ahead of time and hey come out just fine. The seafood and pasta dishes are my favorite.
My only complaint is what to do with the container and box that the dinners come in. It would be nice if we could recycle them by leaving them on the porch on delivery day. It seems such a waste of perfectly good boxes and the bubblewrap liner to just throw them away. Maybe this could be a consideration for the company to explore. Thank you, Barbara Wolpman

The best part is the quality of the ingredients, the ease of cooking and the taste!
It's just my husband and I. I thought we should give it a try. The meals are perfect for work nights. We always have a little leftover so the portions are great. The food is amazing!!

Best food kit ever. Great recipes, they do the prep for you, so fresh home made meals are a snap. Highly recommend, and I’ve tried them all!

While the recipes are outstanding for…

While the recipes are outstanding for flavor, variety and ease of preparation, I have now had 3 instances of ingredients being spoiled upon arrival. These have mostly been greens( arugula especially) and am unsure if it is the method of packaging or the items being spoiled prior to shipment. I am now making sure to not order dishes with arugula or other items that may easily spoil.

The food has always been very good and imaginative, requiring very little prep work/time to serve. The deliveries have always been right on time. The best meal service that we have discovered so far and we highly recommend them.

I absolutely love Gobble

I absolutely love Gobble. I've tried some others and the beauty of Gobble is the meals really can be done in 30 minutes or less. They take care of so much of the prep work. I hope they keep expanding their menu!

Third Time's the Charm

This is the 3rd packaged meal service I have tried & I really like it overall. I do not like to cook & a couple of the others, while they provided all of the ingredients, it was a pretty extensive meal prep. I also tried one where I got meals that just needed to be microwaved - that was convenient, but many times it had way too much spice and garlic for me (I am not a garlic lover). Gobble gets it just right for me; a bit of prep required but nothing too complicated & if I don't want to add the garlic or a certain spice I don't have to. I also like that I can get a salad or breakfast item in place of one of my meals. I live alone so the 3 meal package is perfect for me - one meal lasts 2 nights. It is also easy to skip a week if I need to.

Most of the meals are very delicious

Most of the meals are very delicious. I am not a fan of there recipe cards. They always come Bent in the bag. They could also be larger and easier to follow. This is my second time around with gobble. The first time I left do to very poor customer service, or lack of. But I have decided to give them another shot.

Our Gobble meals are delicious

Our Gobble meals are delicious, super easy and quick to make, and healthy. A few meals aren’t as good as others but nothing we’ve had has been bad while the majority taste really good. Gobble makes meal planning and prep a breeze.

Missing Items and No Refund

I ordered from Gobble and added on an item. It was my first time ordering from them, so I was lined up to get a free gift with my meals as well.
When the order arrived, neither my added item nor my free gift had come with it. When I sent an email telling customer service, I got an apology, but not offer to send the missing items late. They told me that the amount I'd paid for the extra item would be credited toward my next meal order. I told them I wasn't interested in ordering from them again, and asked if they could simply refund the amount to my bank account instead. I sent this email request 16 days ago, and another follow-up email 2 days ago, and have heard nothing from them at all...nothing. Needless to say I will not be returning to Gobble. The food for my order tasted good though, so that earned Gobble a second star at least.
But there are meal plan services out there that do a far better job at communication and delivery, and taste just as good, if not better. I feel confident giving my money to meal plan services like Green Chef and Hello Fresh. Gobble isn't worth my time or money.

Surprisingly (but happily) Great!

We've been getting Gobble delivery service for about 7 months. We've tried all of the others (literally) and found them to be very time consuming and lot's of prep. That's why I went looking for one that helps you along with the prep work, because let's face it...prep is no fun.
Keep in mind as you read this that, I'm SUPER critical. So here goes. We. Love. Gobble! It's really just what the Dr. ordered! It offers us a variety and keeps us from making the same things over and over. They're healthy, and even their lean and clean meals are delicious! I have nothing negative to say honestly...which is rare! We do 3 meals a week for 4 people. It works out really well b/c I don't eat meat/poultry but the rest of my family does and so they can have the extra meat portion and I have the sides and I'll add my own protein (ie; fish). The other thing we do a little differently is that we don't "plate" the meals. We serve everything family style. The plating is great but I just don't have time for it. I also really appreciate that they have so many great seafood options!! I'm trying to add more seafood to my family's diet and Gobble really does take that pressure right off by offering delicious options. They've loved all of them!
Gobble has exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for a yummy variety of meals and likes the idea of cooking but just needs a little extra boost to get it on the table.

Loved it

Very, very helpful and kind customer service. Portions that seem much larger than other meal subscriptions that I’ve tried also! Yummy and simple dishes- definitely can’t go wrong giving them a try!
