Chaos unleashed on my business, my account locked for over a week, for my own security!

Unacceptable response times.

I have been unable to access my account for over a week, I am receiving emails from my customers that I cant read, I need to send emails and reports to my customers. I am using a personal gmail address for my business.

3 calls to Godaddy and £130 payment is obviously not enough to meet Godaddys imprved security critera.

I just had to upload ID to a third party website that I know nothing about, to people I can't contact for purposes unknown to me. I OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T WANT TO DO THAT!!!

Building My Own Website

I had a decision to make today, to try to build my own website or to hire a professional web designer! After speaking with Ronald, he convinced me that I could build my own website with a little help from GoDaddy. He was right, after our phone consultation, I now feel very confident that I can build my company website. Thanks, GoDaddy!!

I've been with GoDaddy for 13 years and…

I've been with GoDaddy for 13 years and have always had the best experience. They are always professional, very helpful and knowledgeable. Tonight's experience with Donna Lee in tech support was amazing - I'm so grateful she got on the line with me. Receiving fatal site error messages on my long-standing business site was harrowing - Donna Lee was gracious, patient and very assuring that the problem could be fixed. Thanks for the many years of great services and products!

GOOOOO IVAN!! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE...EVER!

I have always gotten great customer service.... until this morning, HORRIBLE... 3 DISCONNECTS, 2 TRANSFERS AND NO RESOLUTION IN SITE!!! BUT once I got Ivan (Christian) on the line He became my new best friend!!! Ivan was so patient, understanding, wonderful, knowledgeable, FANTASTIC, and did I mention, WONDERFUL!!! 4 GOLD STARS, 4 THUMBS UP AND 4 HIGH FIVES!! GOOOOO IVAN!!

Don't bother with any premium plan - you'll be stuck on it forever and the support you're paying for is rarely helpful.

Trying to downgrade a hosting plan to a less expensive package is impossible by their website and also extremely difficult on the phone. The staff I've encountered at the call center are by and large clueless and often just give up responding to your query on email or via the phone. I have had one competent member of their support team who was able to help me in less than 30 mins with a technical issue. Others waste your time for 30-45 minutes without achieving anything. They won't downgrade ahead of expiry date of your hosting package. You have to call on the day or pay for the plan again for another month. Very impractical.

Hire people who understand, and respect your mission.

I called Godaddy because my products would not show up when you press my "Shop Now" button on my Godaddy website. I spoke to William who replied in a snide disrespectful tone, "Well, I can't just press a magic button and have it appear." He continued to be extremely rude. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor, he said "OK", then he hung up on me. My suggestion is to fire William and be careful to only hire people who are conducive to Godaddy's mission to help entrepreneurs succeed.

A complete beginner here

A complete beginner here, actually a dinosaur.... I managed to build my own website and when it came down to transferring my domain I need help, I got the best help available & More. I would definitely recommend Go Daddy for all of us that did not grow up with Technology.

Godaddy has consistently been…

Godaddy has consistently been extremely helpful with reminders and lots of information. I have a website with them and from time to time they remind me to make changes and they offer new things to look at and maybe try. I would spend 10x if I went with some other company. I am happy.

Spent hours on the phone with a very competent website representative who was actually enthusiastic to help me deal with my extremely difficult and important questions. I was impressed enough to agree with his interpretation of how he would proceed. I have been working with GoDaddy for over 20 years. I will stay with them, happily, for a while longer. Easy to navigate & build website. Their customer service personnel are helpful & knowledgable going above and beyond to resolve your matter. Really enjoy godaddy.com for my business as I’ve used another site & it wasn’t as use friendly.

Waiting online to speak with someone at…

Waiting online to speak with someone at Go Daddy is very frustrating but once you reach someone you are impressed by their knowledge and resourcefulness. I had a problem with Outlook which could not be solved by the technicians at Microsoft and Geek Squad. Curtis Clark diagnosed the issue immediately and resolved it.

A real knowledgeable Human - what a concept

While I was not keen on the automated helper, or those that did not have good command with the English language, I did speak with someone that was well spoken, knowledgeable and was able to help me through my many issues. While I have prepared numerous websites over the years, the software and technology is constantly changing and time goes by between each time that I'm involved and I need a refresher. Frederich was very helpful and took the time to look at many options.

The sign up was easy because the representative was informed and patient
I’ve not had one incident go wrong on these 2 yrs …
Now I’m ending me services , and the representative is amazing again

Going Above and Beyond

I called today to take care of something that I felt was important relatged to change of payment. The representative made sure she figured out how to do what I was asking even though it was not a traditional type of request. I appreciated her doing it and I am completely satisfied with the service!!

My business website is down for the second time in a week

My business website is down for the second time in a week. It's been two hours trying to talk to customer service and nothing no one answers. I am trying to close a $12,500.00 deal and my customer cannot access my page. If I lose the sale what will they do? Sorry won't pay my bills. If you call to buy a service they answer quickly but for technical support, forget it. It's been over two hours waiting, Godaddy is going down the hill fast.
