I've been a client of Hibike at least…

I've been a client of Hibike at least since 2013. I love the prompt and kind comunication and the selection of high quality products. I would love more attention on solar rechargeable bike lights and all environamental friendly products. But I sure they're working on it, it's not easy to match high quality, substainable and evironmentally friendly products: that's why 5 stars!

Poor quiality of client service

Very poor quiality of client service and very discouraging style of communication with customers.
We (i and my wife) ordered 2 bicycles for children at 29.11.2019.
At 05.12 i've receive letter with subject "Status of your HIBIKE order", where there were no any questions, it looks iike simple notice. All comments in the order confirmation "Karte" was marked green.
At 06.12 i've receive absolutely the same letter. No comments requires my reaction and no questions anywhere.
Same day i've received letter from HiBike expedition containing invoice for only 1 bicycle. Part of the letter was written in german (though i dont understand german, and they know it), but as usual - no comments, no requests for interaction, simply invoice. This letter for some unknown reason was also repeated at the same day.
From that moment I started to worry a bit about what could happen to the second bike and where the second invoiceю
At 11.12 i received a letter where hibike tolds me that they cant withdraw 16.54 euro from my credit card and asking my, whether i want to cancel my order. I was shocked by this letter, because earlier there was no question about any material claims against me from the store. I ask them why they need some payment beyond a previous order. They answered me:

"Dear customer,

So obvioulsy you do not read yoru order confirmation. Since 2 bikes cannot be shipped together, we had to charge shipping twice which we could not charge your credit card with.
Please do not blame us if you do not read your order confirmation!
So can we charge your card now or should we cancel ?"

I credited funds to my credit card and answer that its'ok to repeat operation.
But it's 12.12 and no there are no any new letters or invoices from HiBike.
This style of communication with the client is a poorly hidden rudeness: instead of just clearly notifying me that it would be necessary to withdraw an additional amount from my card, they first flunked me with formal letters from an automated order processing system, and, as a result, disrupted all the assembly terms and sending the order and rude to me. After all, they still did not let me know when the order will be sent completely, though i asked them that simple question yesterday.

UPD: Finally 2-nd part of my order was shipped by HiBike at 13.12.2019

Hello Andrey, we are really sorry that your are not happy with our customer service.
Our emails are always status updates. If we send an email like this, there must be new information.
If a customer orders two bikes or one big bike, we need to add shipping costs. We have to do this after your order, thats why you got these status emails.

Just awful customer service!

Just awful customer service! My bike was damaged a bit during transport. I takes days and weeks from them to answer reclamations. Then they just keep jerking you around and won't replace the damaged hanger :( They also added more postage after payment, which you don't know during order phase (bike shipped in two boxes).

I just wish I would have read some reviews from here before ordering.

In terms of the hanger we had to order the correct hanger first because we did not have it in stock. The delivery of the hanger took some time, but in the meantime we have also been waiting for the photos we asked you for. It is very important for us to find the reason for your damaged hanger.
Thats why we have asked you for a few more photos of the package as well as the hub and the whole rear wheel. Besides, we received your spare hanger and we will send it as soon as possible.

Hibike is the only online retailer in Germany that has some of the best brands of mountain bikes and delivers to USA. I am very pleased with my mountain bike order as it arrived in time, well packaged without damages. They are communicative, responsive in timely manner and make the process of long distance ordering simple and easy.

Whenever I'm finished browsing other German online bike stores, I check out HIBIKE and ask myself why in the hell do I even bother with others. Any item I find elsewhere is usually at a better price here. I guess other stores might have a more user-friendly interface that looks nicer. If they could fix this, hibike would be my main stop.

even though the prices look tempting it is NOT worth it.

they customer service is not bad, its INEXISTENT.

i tried calling 3 times, sent 2 contact forms, wrote them on facebook as well...NO REPLY for 5 days now.

i orderder a bike frame, in stock, paid for it, did not recieve anything, the ammount is taken from my credit card nevertheless with no way to contact them.

hopefully i will not have to pursue legal action against them and this will be sorted magically somehow, but not to repeat myself do NOT recommend this to my worst of enemies.

it's 2019 and ad we have still these shops that appear to have good prices and you pay 30 euros for shipping that's untrackable, no reply from nobody and your out of the money till god knows when...

Pimp your bike with high quality…

Pimp your bike with high quality products at an acceptable price. You might have an idea to customize your bike and with some luck you find the manufacturer offering in his catalogue the thing you want in the right colour with all the small parts you need (separately vended of course). Having made up your mind, one big issue left: find the internet store that offers you what you want.... If the vendor is listed in the catalogue of Hibike, you'll find the whole gamma at a really low price.

Terrible service. Never got my item. Waited 30 days. At some point after numerous complaints I got refund. Do not recommend.

Great service by email, prompt delivery

I saw an interesting wheelset on sale, but the default sets online did not meet my needs. I then enquired by email if it was possible to order the required wheels separately at the price of the set on sale. I got a reply very quickly and was able to get the wheels I wanted for a great price. I was also instructed on how to proceed with the order and how the price difference would be handled. Delivery was prompt and accurate. Everything went smoothly and I will certainly order from Hibike again.

Payed but never recieved the order nor feedback

Hello, on the 9th of june I ordered and payed for an oneal protective shirt.
Never had any confirmation on this order, what is worse, i tried to ask for information about my order. Not even an answer.
No feedback whatsoever. After more than a month i m starting to worry.
