Very Shady Company

I've unfortunately been with Justhost for many years. They nickel and dime you every opportunity they get.....especially with renewals. I have a very simple website with one main domain and a parked domain linking to the same website. When I go to renew online, you will get one price that is half the price they quote you over the phone. Every sales rep you speak with over the phone will quote you a different price. Very shady business practices. They do this because they know that it is a pain in the butt to switch your domain to another provider. While their actual web hosting is mediocre (average outages and performance in comparison to other providers), I don't trust people that lie to me about services. Just offer an honest and consistent price without the unethical runarounds.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. My web domain was set to manual renewal which means it should not be renewed until I actively choose to renew. Its current period of payment was through to July 2023. JustHost unilaterally renewed it at an inflated annual cost, without my authorization. They had used my credit card details from a previous transaction. I had to take up the matter with VISA as a disputed transaction. This is a try-on by JustHost - a money grab. Their online chat is never responded to, you cannot get telephone contact details as their contact page comes up with a "cloudflare" error.
VISA says I have to give JustHost 15 days to respond to the disputed transaction claim. I have now put a block on my credit card for this company to repvent them trying to take any further monies. Hopefully VISA will refund me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Very disappointed with customer…

Very disappointed with customer service. I haven't used their services for over 2 years and they have been charging my credit card for services. I realized February 8th that they had charged me for another year on January 12th. I called and asked for a refund and they would not give it to me. Their solution was to charge me for the month of January and then refund the rest to me. Very poor customer service especially when they could plainly see that I haven't used their services to host my website for at least 2 years.

Bad customer service/ support

Justhost and Blue( whatever) Not great service, my websites are down, been on the online chat service for the last week or so, still no resolution and the websites are still offline.
for the last 2 days or so, I am not able get on the chat service. service is terrible, very frustrated. will be taking my business elsewhere

This is the worst hosting I have dealt…

This is the worst hosting I have dealt with. They are resellers of domains and have horrible customer support. I tried to transfer my domain and it was just a headache. The aurthorization codes they sent me never worked. Then the companies that the domains are actually with, you can't get in touch with anyone. I called and tried to reach them and no response. Stay away!

This is the worst company on the planet - please for the love of all that is good, stop reading and pick any other company - there is nothing good about them and or blue host or what ever other name they change - bad bad, dumb, not good, rude, horrible are all words that are too good for them!!!

Cheap... but 'you pay for what you get'!

When I went to renew my website and email hosting they pushed the price up by 37%... in a month.
Tried to make a complaint asked for their Formal Complaints procedure - only to be told 'we don't have one'! - mind blown
Cheap... but 'you pay for what you get'!
Email and web hosting 'ok' customer service absolutely dreadful - you will waste a lot of time trying to sort any issues out and be left very frustrated.

I'm a client of Justhost since 2016

I'm a client of Justhost since 2016, so far it's been a good hosting without hidden fees, it's not cheap but there are no surprises after sing up. I had several issues "technicals" but they were resolved pretty fast. Their support is very good, and they try solve issues always. In 6 years I only had 1 big issue, they resolved and helped me with my part too

AMAZING 24/7 Support! Fast and Reliable Servers

I've been with eHOST, bough by Justhost for 7+years
Very happy with the hosting and amazing 24/7 support team! hosting is very fast although my servers are not on SSD - uptime SLA is very good! overall very happy with JustHost and I will continue with them for many more years to come
P.s I have tried many hosting providers, JustHost is the best I've seen so far

Just Host deleted my files

My website was down, I finally got through to a representative who told me that my files had been deleted. He said that Just Host sent me an email a few months ago to notify me that payment hadn't been received but I did not receive any emails. I had my account set up on autopay with the same bank for 7 years. It was difficult to get through to a representative, and he kept shifting the blame to my email provider. Terrible experience, do not waste your money on Just Host.

Beware of Justhost…

I had my website hosted with Justhost and cancelled by hosting in April 2021 and transferred my domain to another company. Justhost billed and charged my credit card without my authorization $215.88 for services that they no longer provided. When I asked for a refund they only offered a partial because they were charging me from July 2021 to today for services they nolonger provided ???? Dont use these crooks.

I have been in a three week nightmare…

I have been in a three week nightmare with this company just trying to change the registrant email address so I can respond to ICANN's verification. We're a community theater that has been in business since 1922. ICANN has blocked our website for 3 weeks now because I can't get any resolution from JustHost. First I have spoken to 7 representatives all asking the same question. Why don't they have ONE person taking care of this issue? We have been with JustHost webhosting for over 16 years. We are absolutely leaving to another webhosting company once we get our domain resolved. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

Avoid and watch out for renewal "upselling"

Avoid. With 25 years in the technology sector I can say with hand on heart that JustHost and its stablemate brand GoDaddy have the honour of providing the worst customer experience ever encountered. Watch out everyone for the Auto renewal uplifts to three years on domains and added on hosting costs for parked domains. We are desperately looking for European owned web domain and hosting service to move everything off this terrible company

Just the worst experience

Been with Just host for years with no issues but they have recently managed to loose an entire website.!!! Can't phone to talk to anyone, web chat failed 4 times until the 5th time I was told there was a known issue with safari...
Now have to rebuild our site at our expense, no compensation just an apology that their back ups only go back 3 weeks.
Just fantastic... : (

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. They will not own their problems. Their website builder uploads phantom pages that don't belong and they screw up Google search. They say it Google search problem. I have moved one webpage to a different host and in the process of moving 2 more. I will never use or recommend this company. They also own bluehost.

Just host is a scam

Just host is a scam, don’t give them your credit card information!!! We had a website with a different company a decade ago, just host recently took over that company and started all the old accounts back up and charged our credit card over $800! Now they want us to send an email to ask to close the account before we can get any money back. NO, the account was already closed ten years ago!

JustHost "Just" switched my website off ...…

JustHost switched my website off and only when asked declared their website builder I had used for 10 years was no longer supported. This ended the site and the business.
I'm utterly flabbergasted at their arrogance: no contact, no response, no compensation, no business sense of responsibility, and no customer support.

AVOID!!!! They steal your money

They hadn't supplied me with any hosting or domain for nearly 2 years but then decided to withdraw £435 out of my palpal/bank account for a service they didn't provide and a domain renewal they don't own. Took all my shopping money and available funds and my husband has been furloughed due to the covid-19 virus and I have 2 children still at home. Took food out of my kids mouths.. I'm trying to get money back through paypal AVOID!!!!!

The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever experienced, online chat is completely hopeless and the phone support sound like they are on drugs AND are completely hopeless. Backend of their website is a horribly customised (ruined) cpanel, sections of which are completely broken. Trying to follow their own FAQ steps results in nothing but frustration. Their whole service is very second rate. Avoid.
