I was very not sure about buying a mobile phone from them.

I was very not sure about buying a mobile phone from them as I wasn't sure of the company (laptops direct) but after reading the trust pilot reviews it helped me to make my decision. And I must admit that it was really amazing having my product not the day they promised but before the only date they committed. I will use this company in the future as they service was simple, fast and with no complications. I only wish that could do price match but hey the price less expensive than other retailers selling international versions of the same product. Mine was the UK version as I need it to be OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G .

I will see you again.

Excellent Service.

Used Laptops Direct a few times and time and time again, they uphold their quality and service! Items arrive on time, after sales email updates keep you updated with your order status. Even the refurbished items are excellent! Definitely will be using them again.

Ordering was straight forward

Ordering was straight forward. The collection point in Hudersfield was a bit tricky to find it having moved from a smart building / showroom on my last visit into an anonymous portakabin some couple of hundred metres away in the corner of a carpark.

Good, quick, cheap, easy

Seem pretty good really. Very good price for a very nice mid-range, very light HP 13" aero. Was rung up by a very bouncy guy from Huddersfield, where they're based, who wanted to sell me a warranty, but he didn't go on about it when I politely refused.

The website and ordering process was easy to navigate.

Quality products at fair and competitive prices.

Item was dispatched quickly, and I was notified at regular intervals, of its journey and expected delivery time.

Driver was courteous and polite. I am delighted with the whole experience.

Great seller

The ease of the order process. Ordered, shipped and delivered within the given timeframe. Ordered for a Christmas present so not used the item yet but looks great. I’ve had a positive experience so can definitely recommend.

Website experience could have been better!

My laptop was chosen for me by my son in law as being suitable for me. I ordered it to be forwarded to him but did find ordering on the website a bit confusing. I had to try 3 or 4 times and got a bit frustated.
Also delivery on Fri didn't happen but was successful on Saturday.
Hopefully I'll find it easy to use when I pick it up next weekend!

Great service - great laptop!

The laptop arrived as stated and is in excellent condition. It works perfectly and has been refurbished to a very high standard and for a fraction of the price for a brand new laptop. I very much believe in recycling and reusing previously used electronics and Laptops Direct definitely are helping us become more sustainable. I would definitely recommend.

Going an extra mile

Initially my order failed. I am not sure why but that's not important. A member of staff reached out to check on the status and confirmed that my retry gad gone through. Super friendly and very helpful.

A retailer that cares

Customer service was incredible!

My order was checked by a member of staff just to avoid any festive fraud, and followed up by a gent that wanted to ensure that everything was correct and wanted to see if I wanted to take any insurance out on my purchases.

Ordinarily these kind of things would annoy me but the staff at Laptops Direct/Appliances Direct were incredibly friendly and just wanted to help.

My only downside for my purchase concerns DPD. I'm sure that many people receive their orders just fine, but I've found DPD on this occasion to be lazy and awkward to get hold of.

Ultimately if Laptops Direct was willing to allow for shipment via another courier (DX perhaps) their service might be more attractive to others. That being said not everyone will encounter the same issues I have had.

Lies and Deceit

Ordered a monitor, advertised as in stock. Checked 5 days laters to track it, which I had to create an account for all to realise the item is not in stock and it is awaiting stock. Got emails to reflect I’ve ordered and paid. Phoning customer service, on hold for 10 minutes, spoke to someone to confirm yes it’s out of stock and they don’t know when it will be back in stock. She said she’ll transfer the call to get a refund on hold for another 10 mins, writing this review as I’m listening to their hold music. Won’t be ordering again or even entertain any offer from laptops direct.

I paid extra for next day delivery

I paid extra for it to be delivered next day, it wasn't delivered and the delivery company were impossible to communicate with, wasting a few hours of our time and we had to make new arrangements to have someone in on the following day. No way of contacting anyone at Laptops Direct so just had to wait and hope someone would communicate with us. DPDs chatbot cut me off four times and did not give any help at all. No offer of refund, so unlikely to use service again.

If I could leave 0 stars I would

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Son has saved his birthday and Christmas money for a couple of years to be able to buy himself a gaming laptop, he finally chose one due to be delivered 23rd Nov, which got pushed back to 5th Dec, then to the 12th Dec, rang today and told stock is due on the 15th Dec, which Is going to be pushed back again I'm sure. I can't cancel as prices of laptops have gone right up again now black Friday is over and they know it. The same laptop we bought is showing as online and £200 more expensive! JOKE OF A COMPANY!

Tough to beat

First, the value for money. I got what a wanted for a great price. Secondly, the customer service. I had a few issues with a foreign currency credit card, and the customer service re-arranged the payment for me multiple times until it went through. Finally, the super fast delivery, which arrived even before the stated day. One thing I know is that I will use Laptop Direct again in the future!

A Pleasant Purchasing Experience

The ordering procedure was straightforward and delivery was next-day. The price was also competitive. I received a follow up phone call asking whether I had received my goods, and trying to sell me insurance, however the salesperson was pleasant and not at all pushy. This was the second time that I had made fairly major purchases from Laptop Direct and I would be happy to do so again.
