Learn Worlds should be more honest and truthful with their advertising. They lure you in with false promises and then abandon you immediately after you sign up.
Before Black Friday of 2023 they explicitly advertised a free 30 day trial for the Learning Center plan however when I signed up I only received a trial for the lowest plan. When I contacted them I got the typical response "rest assured we have forwarded your feedback to our team" but they would not upgrade the account to the trial that was advertised. This is false advertising.
Because of this I was not able to test many of the features offered by Learn Worlds but one of the features that I was able to test (the "Community") was nothing but underwhelming. It looks like a site from the 1900's. It is really that bad. It isn't user-friendly and other platforms (like Thinkific and Circle) have done a FAR better job in this aspect.
Not only is the platform is a mess with it's outdated feeling and not a good user experience, customer service is also shockingly poor. I would stay away.

I am a fan of LearnWorlds but I'm going to share what I think is the number one problem with LearnWorlds: the in course Discussion and Community UI.
LearnWorlds NEEDS to listen to their customers and completely redo this aspect of their site to resemble Thinkific, Circle.so or Mighty Networks.
Why do I give LearnWorlds a two star rating if I'm generally happy with the LW platform? Because I think Community is the second most important component of online learning (after video). Unfortunately, I think the Community / Discussion UI repels users instead of attracting them. LearnWorlds should focus on this aspect of their platform before adding new features.
I was on the LearnWorlds zoom call today and it seems that this feature was requested by many of the participants. So why isn't LearnWorlds doing anything about it? Why is there NO estimated date when these features will be released?
On the plus side, LearnWorlds has a good track record of listening to their customers but it looks like they've completely overlooked this side of their platform.

Robust platform for sure. However, the E-Book builder is super glitchy, it ends up being easier to post PDFs. A disappointment.

I experienced an urgent problem that required an urgent solution. It happened after working hours (in my timezone) and the issue was not a quick fix. While I was sleeping, they escalated the problem to their development team. In the end, everything was resolved the next day.
Their customer support team is available 24 hours via email. Zoom calls need to be scheduled for important but less urgent matters. Urgent requests via email are prioritized, and all others have been answered to my satisfactory in a timely manner. I've worked with Leanrworlds for almost half a year now, and they are very patient and friendly. They are always taking my feedback into consideration for improving their platform.

Terrible, the worst LMS experience I ever had. Not only the platform is a mess. The worst part was that for two years we felt like we were charged totally unfairly. When reaching support they won't offer a solution, they'll just show you how wrong you are.

It is a good website to make a teaching course website and uploading videos and teaching. I think it needs a grouping directory to includes a series of courses to spare space in the course catalog and landing page. But other functions works well and the support team reply quickly about tecnical problems and help a lot.

I've paid over £1000 for their Pro Trainer plan, but I feel like I've been scammed.
There are endless bugs with their website, students are struggling to use my learning platform because of Learnworlds.
I have numerous issues with setting up Facebook pixel that hasn't been resolved as their customer service hasn't come back to me for over 3 weeks.
I had to refund several students because of Learnworlds. When students paid for the course they didn't get access to the course (this should happen automatically upon payment) and this of course caused students asking for a refund. I've raised an issue but of course still waiting to be resolved.
Customer service is also shockingly poor. As I previously mention there are several tickets that are still pending, waiting for their reply after months.
I used to be part of their affiliate program but all I can recommend is to AVOID!

Overall Learnworlds is a great product!.
Its has helped me put my teaching business online, reaching more people than I could have done in person.
The setup process is extremely simple, anyone can do it.
There are tutorials for every section should you need help setting something up.
The in house video hosting is my favorite as I don't need another subscription platform to host my videos.

We compared five options and LearnWorlds came out on the bottom. Old user interface. Outdated feeling and not a good experience. There are much better options out there.

LearnWorlds has upgraded their platform. Not just another release with a bit more features, but a complete new one. I think of 'software' as whatever I can think of, should be possible. This platform as the awesome support mostly about learning instead of helping to overcome issues or create workarounds. Well done!

After having used all the major online course platforms - I pretty much "stumbled" across learnworlds, and haven't looked back. It's that good. Easy to see why they are growing like crazy! The administration of courses is one of the most "underlooked" aspects of running memberships/courses, and this platform is the best by miles!!

I'm really impressed with Learnworlds. It really does have everything you need for an online course/s and community. It's very easy to set up, and also gives lots of ways to change up the look or function of each page too. Also, the support is really good because they actually go in to your school and screen shot exactly how to do whatever you've asked about, so it's not a generic support answer, it's very specific to your own needs.

Something is very suspicious with Learnworlds Paypal payments.
My first 3 students tried to buy my course. They all paid with Paypal. I didn't get any payment and they couldn't access the course.
I thought maybe there's something wrong with my new Paypal account. After one of my friends has sent me 2 payment in Dollars in only 1 minute and not through Learnworlds, I've understood the problem is within the connection between Learnworlds and Paypal.
Plus, I really don't understand why I need to pay almost 1000$ for a platform and not getting my own domain - why isn't it easy to pick the domain instead of sending me to GoDaddy?
Admin issues need to be less complicated on Learnworlds.
Yes. they're course platform is easy to use and pleasant in terms of UX, but all the rest - especialy money and domain - which are crucial in my opinion, are exhausting.
At the end what I need as a costumer is to be easy to access (domain) and easy to get paid. It's so frustrating to think that for 6 months I've been working on my course, paid almost 1000$ and now I can't release it.

Though we are still new to LearnWorlds (couple months), our experience has been very positive! We have already released our first course (which was very intuitive to build) and there have been zero technical issues with 22 students in our first launch. This is the best learning platform I found so far. I already had an up and running course on Teachable, but unfortunately the payment options for my Dutch customers was limited. I found Learnworlds and was pleasently surprised with the possibilities, but most of all the kind en helpful support squad that not only responds quickly, but also follows up. I can recommend Learnworlds to anyone, also people like me who are totally new to all of this.

I started to use LearnWorlds about a month ago when switched from another platform. can recommend LearnWorlds as a great tool to manage an online course, academy, accelerator or anything similar. The platform works well and has many adjustable features. The support is super fast and always helpful! 5/5

I spent time during the trial to build some of the elements of my course. 3 days ago they sent an email which I did not see saying my work was scheduled to be deleted unless I upgrade. No time frame mentioned.
I did not see this and just checked - it is all gone. I will be starting my school soon, but it will not be with this company.
ETA: The company has been helpful in looking into this for me. I still don't like that I lose access to my work so quickly if I don't upgrade then they will delete.
