I've been using Maple for decades

I've been using Maple for decades. Maple 2025 is a disaster! If I mistype one single letter/number in a calculation, game over! The interrupt simply doesn't work! God help me if I try a loop and want permutations in permute(5) and i mistype permute (55), time to reboot maple again! And every single time I want to type a fraction or exponent, the focus moves aways to the main line, making it horrific to type in fractions like 1/x+1 or e^x+2 without constantly backing up or using parenthesis! Horrible. And still occasionally locks up so they weren't able to fix that old bug either. Worst update ever.

I find this program to be of limited use

I find this program to be helpful for individual calculations; however, it falls short for me when actually using multiple data points from real tests, and trying to run calculations based on those data points.
I personally have no use at all for the programing language side of it

Program is excellent and they keep it…

Program is excellent and they keep it up to date. The customer service is exceptional and i would recommend anyone who wants a complete calculations program to choose maples software.
Like i mentioned the customer service is incredible and they make you feel important to them.

The double edged sword that ALLWAYS cuts you.

The Maple program constantly crashes and has a tendency to corrupts files relentlessly! Despite this maplesoft has made a program with many helpful features that is truly helpful, such as their unit conversion. However, although the program is very helpful the stability is simply too poor for usage in a more impotent work setting.
I would only recommend usage of maple for those who doesn’t need their work for later, and isn’t working under a timeframe e.g. an exam.
This is a shame since, had the program been stable, I would have highly recommended it. But as it stands maple is nothing more than a headache due to stability issues.

Not worth it

Providing outdated, slow software that you need a high end computer to run even simple calculations in.
No autosave.
Updates download at less than 500KB/s despite my internet being faster than that, and installing a small update takes as long as installing word.

Requires an expansion pack to use degrees instead of radians, instead of just doing the sensible thing and making it a toggle in settings.

It can probably do a lot of cool math, but for what I need it for the address bar in Google chrome can do all the trig functions, square roots, large multiplications and so on, so I'd reccomend sticking to that.

Making new lines is a super painful thing and doesn't work like any text document(I think?). Despite using 20+ hours in it so far I am not sure how this basic feature works; sometimes it makes a new line and sometimes it skips a line down

Annoying as hell

This webside provides a program to use in math. This program has caused me so many frustrations that i has stopped counting. There are students across the world who is forced to use this in their education, and I feel truly sorry for them, tho the blame is to find with maple soft.
