Excellent service so far. I have both gbp and euro account. Use code BELAG214 to receive €20 pounds (around £17). I was able to receive euro on my account not like on my Starling account (not SEPA). The exchange rate good as TransferWise.

Monese closed Last october my account…

Monese closed Last october my account because they suspected that i payed IPTV.
I send them email showing them what i really payed and didnt Gott no answer. Allmost 3 months later im still waiting for my Balance money to be Transfer to my account.
I send many emails until now asking for my money and i dont have no answer until today!

You have a set minimum to put on

I don’t like the fact you have to put a minimum on the card. I like how you can use it in other countries but I don’t like money being on the card but had to put a minimum on there to top it up when I wanted to put less than £5 to be able to use the rest of the balance.

BLOCKED ACCOUNT

They blocked my account saying that monese only works in Europe, but I’m a Italian resident and I provided the documents when I registered. I sent already 7 mails to them and didn’t receive a reply yet, what is this bu*****t? Account blocked with money inside meanwhile I’m travelling, so you can immaginate the anger.

Highly disappointed

I am a Monese customer for more than 3 years, personal GBP account, EUR account and Business account. As you can understand, I trusted Monese a lot to rely on them for everything I do with money.

I am sorry to say that I am not happy with Monese any more and particularly unhappy with their customer support.

I 've unable to receive money for almost 2 months and recently tried to transfer money between my accounts without success. S**** happens but what is frustrating is that I was waiting for 5-6 days to get an explanation. The answers I received were almost robotic, the person that replied to me didn't even read what I sent. So, 5 more days for the next answer which was also wrong. We are still counting. I have emailed them, chatted, called, requested to be called back, nothing worked.

During the days of Brexit and while Monese's accounts are not protected by FSCS, I would expect a service that is more trustworthy.

Now it´s 14 days until i made my account but it stay freezed until now and i can see just screen with infromation about that my account is under reviw and still not verified and without reply.
