My website was recently hacked and had Malware installed onto it. I contacted the company that made my site and they quoted $1,000 to fix it and $400 per annum to keep it secure.

My website got suspended by my host provider last night on the grounds that a malicious code found it's way to my files and was generating tons of spam messages which brought my site to a halt. If you like me have had your website listed by google as having malware / dangerous site ahead, you can appreciate how annoying and scary it is. This company sorted it in less than an hour! It did take a bit longer for google to rescan my website after the fix but this was explained and the warning went away a day later. I am now behind "sharkgate" their firewall and the attacks are being blocked which will give me some peace of mind over the christmas break. Very efficient from startup to the fixing. fast, efficient the real deal
At such a busy time of year, my shop got hacked. I am so glad I found these guys. Terrible experience would NOT recommend
I had a terrible experience with One Hour Site Fix. There was a malware attack on a site we manage and we engaged One Hour Site Fix to solve the problem. After a week they had still not fixed the issue but claimed they had, despite the site still redirecting to a spam page.
They also made the emails go down as they redirected the mx records.
I ended up paying another guy to fix up the site who did it in about 20 minutes.
Then they cancelled the service 3 months later and the site crashed again with no notice or anything.
Would not recommend at all

It appears we scanned your site and removed various Trojans and malware. We informed you that there were other websites on the same server and there was a high chance of cross-site contamination, explaining that those other websites would need to be checked and cleaned. At numerous stages in the ticket history, you thank us for the work performed. You mention that an issue following the clean-up was probably due to your browser cache (22.09.2020 8.24am). Indeed as you mention, there was an issue with email configuration which can happen when re-configuring items to behind a firewall. This was picked up and addressed 30mins after you raised it.
In the last ticket dated 28.09.20 you mentioned you were confused in that you were unable to replicate the redirect hack. You stated that “I will contact my client to see if they are still having issues.“. Sadly, that is the last we heard from you. As I am sure you are aware, it ‘takes two to tango’, as responsive and committed as we are - if you do not get back to us or clarify your issue there isn’t an awful lot we can do for you. We tested, re-tested, and explained that the issue you were seeing was most likely a caching issue. Our team had successfully cleaned your website and removed numerous Trojans and malware from quite a heavily infected website, not just by blanket file deletion files like so many other service providers do - but by hand, carefully removing the infections. I fail to understand that after 3 months you have decided to write a negative review. Everybody has the right to an opinion, but sadly on this occasion I think this may be misjudged and a little unfair following the hard work the team has performed on getting your website(s) fixed. We have remained responsive, patient, and dedicated but it seems this was not enough for you, so for that I apologise.

I had a malware attack on my website and was pretty stressed about what to do about it as I have a fair few clients on there.
