This is absolutely the best site if you are looking for a new pet or intend to rehome a pet you are no longer able to care for. I had a lot of interest in my advert to rehome my two budgies due to my husbands worstening asthma condition. The people who contacted me were genuine people and the budgies now have a lovely new home. I would strongly recommend this site as I truly believe that the people who use this site are genuine animal lovers

really good site..although I did have a man claiming he would be the ideal owner for my dog ...to turn out to be a complete liar...I tried reporting him to pets4home but never heard back off them do as far as I know hell con more people out of buying cheap dogs x I asked dogs homes on questions i need to ask and procedures i need yo do before handing over my dog ...which really helped me group genuine people from frauds xx

This is an easy to use and professional website that provides a decent community for sellers and buyers if utilised correctly.
I would highly recommend using it for any pet related posts as it is more specific to animals; it isn't a general website where you can buy and sell any second hand goods, which is great because animals are a responsibility and shouldn't be mashed up along with used shirts or scratched up dressers.
We had to use this website recently due to horrible circumstances not letting up which lead us to make the decision to rehome our puppy since it isn't fair for her to be dragged down with us when she deserves much much more; we had an elaborate write up where we listed our cause, specified info. about the puppy, stated what she learned so far and what the expectations should be for a pup her age, and noted what will come along with her in a big honest wall of text and thanked whomever took the time to read it. We got many replies from interested people and we arranged viewings with those who had ideal conditions to offer the puppy, and within 3 days she found a loving family who keeps us updated about how well she is doing and how happy she is rolling around in their backyard.
I would like to remind anyone looking to use this website to please be careful of the people who might be lurking on it, because there are scammers and ill intentioned people all over the internet and this phenomenon isn't exclusive to this website alone, and even though we finally were able to find a loving home for our puppy, we had to sift through many dishonest people who kept changing stories, time wasters, or some that just wanted to exploit the dog, and we even had someone agree to the terms we set out show up on viewing day and demand the dog despite turning out to not be able to afford a pet financially and refusing to leave until our neighbours got involved, so again please be on your toes and make the right choice when it comes to listing any animal, the website is a great tool, but it needs to be handled correctly.
