I ordered my shed nearly 2 weeks ago

I ordered my shed nearly 2 weeks ago, still not delivered, emailed them a few times, regarding delivery date, they emailed me back saying theyd get back to me, i still havent 5 days later, bit disappointed, started to feel id been scammed, hence checking reviews,

I clicked on a local shed producer and…

I clicked on a local shed producer and was re directed to Sheds first. I ordered the product that I required and gave the delivery date and paid no problem, delivery day arrived and the shed was delivered in the time slot that I was given.So far so good but hang on a minute this delivery was from a different company to the one I was supposed to be receiving it from.
The company ( Fenland Timber)I had wanted the shed from is in the next village and have a good reputation ,the company that supplied the shed (Shire Garden Buildings)are renowned for poor quality.
The quality of the wood was poor( warped,full of filler and knot holes you could put your fingers through).when we got the sides and in place we discovered that one was 70mm short and one side was lower in height than the others . The doors were flimsy with only 3 horizontal bars (no cross braces) even the door bolt was bent All in all a very poor quality product. If it wasn’t for the fact I had treated the floor I would have returned it An explanation as to why I ordered from one company and was supplied by another would be welcomed

Didn’t get what I paid for!!!

I ordered a 6’5 shed and It was 3/4 inches smaller than what it should have been. I am not happy with this. I rang to return and they told me that I’d be have to pay a returning fee, which I wasn’t aware of. The order said I could return within 14 days, which I did do. I paid the full price and got an item that wasn’t worth the money I paid! Completely disappointed!! Won’t be recommending to family members or friends!

Do not order with this company. If you do you will regret it.
Delivery confirmed on the phone for Saturday 27th July - no one turned up and no contact, office closed until Monday. I wasted a whole day waiting in for delivery. Then told my delivery was CONFIRMED for Thursday 1st August (I have evidence on email). Phone call on Thursday 0930 delivery confirmed for Friday 2nd August when I had already taken a day off. Woman on the phone said my Thursday delivery was only provisional. Offered £50 off my £725 shed which I have already paid for. I think this is a pittance. It is impossible to contact the delivery team no one ever answers, choose order team and they always answer - suspicious. I have contacted trading standards. Anyone else had a bad experience - contact consumer rights or trading standards. CHOOSE A QUALITY COMPANY NOT THIS RUBBISH SERVICE.

Really bad experience

We ordered a 8x6 f shed. When it arrived the driver said he can't go through the house with the shed because its the company policy (the only way to access our garden is through the living room) so he left everything by the main door. I have a pregnant wife if I wouldnt be home what would she have done with it? What kind of crap service is that? I will never order from you guys again and strongly advise other people not to.

Very poor quality

Very poor quality, don't buy from this company. Lots of splits very rough surface resulting in splinters, can't imagine it's going to last very long. The lovely people that ordered and installed for us are trying to resolve with the company but so far are just being fobbed off, so it seems customer care is not great either

4 x 6 Garden Shed

Good delivery but shed floor far too thin and with insufficient runners. Have to go out tomorrow and buy several additional runners to ensure there is enough strength to walk on it.

Only put one star because it is the only way I can give a review ! Paid over £1000 for a shed and installation and to say that I am disappointed with it is an understatement! It was only in situ for just over 2 months . It was a late Christmas present for my husband who I sadly lost at the end of April . We came home from the hospital the day he died to find the shed had completely collapsed onto the items stored inside . It is now on the patio slabs waiting for me to find someone to dispose of it . Heartbreaking!

Still awaiting installation. Think 20 days have now past since delivery on the 11th Jan ?!

Paid for installation of shed and after waiting for 10 days after delivery still haven’t had a date when it will take place .
Enquired almost daily ..

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH

Bought a shed from this company. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. 40 DEEP CUTS AND MASSIVE KNOT HOLES THAT YOU COULD SEE DSYLIGHT THROUGH. THE WOOD WAS CUT SO TERRIBLY THIN IT WAS LIKE CARDBOARD. I ADVISE NOBODY TO PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. When I complained they told me to get wood filler!

Started well but turned into a saga

Started well, easy to order online and communication with company was good. Received text day before telling me I would get a text on the morning of delivery with a 2 hour time slot (didn't happen) and a phone call 30 mins before (didn't happen). Eventually turned up with shed on the day, moaned that it was a curb side delivery only but eventually brought it into my garden. Shed was damaged, broken (shatter proof! ) window and two holes in the front panel. Unable to get hold of sheds first on the phone, advised by message to email and they would get back to me by 5pm....(didn't happen). Shed is sitting in my garden unbuilt and probably getting damaged by the weather.

I initially had reservations about booking fence panels via the net - but the experience with Shedsfirst was amazing !!! The delivery - came just after 7 am , so didn’t have to stay put all day - wasting the whole day !! It was wonderful!!!! Well done ShedsFirst -

Order process was fine - delivery was terrible.

Order process was fine. However, the delivery "crew" weren't able to lift the shed without my help and simply dumped it on the pavement outside my house declaring it "too heavy to move". They then departed, leaving me to break down the delivered package in order to move the components single-handedly onto my property. This has meant unpacking it before I expect to construct the shed, and they didn't actually deliver it!

Order process/tracking was good. Delivery team were useless.

What a first class delivery driver came full honours to him . Showed customer care to its limit .He deserves a big pay rise thank him on my behalf.
Just a bit disappointed in the construction of the floor ,could be in two halves,with a bit more solid construction being as the shed is built on it.ive purchased much meatier bearers to put down first. May be this could be reviewed to up grade the construction. But otherwise very impressed.
