Can no longer use PayPal pay in 4 for some nonsense reason. Most releases have errors and have to wait months for replacement discs with no other remedy offered. Nothing but trouble releases had severe sound issues throughout the whole movie. Hundreds of complaints and the company just ignored it, did absolutely nothing about it! Thus company had had massive quality control issues for several years now and it's just not getting better.

Shipping times could be better. Knowing a large sale will drive high order volume, additional help with packing and shipping is almost expected. Packaging was great though and all items received included their slipcovers.

I simply just love that Shout! Factory exists and that it cares so much about the presentation and preservation of movies. Sometimes it can take a while for items to ship out but that just means you're extremely busy and that's great! Physical Media is important and the fact that you have the movies I love available in the first place is awesome. Thank you for all that you do!

I placed an order for three DVD sets. These were not mailed out until sixteen days after I had placed my order. None of these sets were on back order. When I reached out to Shout Factory, I received a generic email stating that I had placed my order during their 4K sale and that Shout Factory would mail out my order as soon as possible. Sixteen days to mail out a package in this day and age is unacceptable and just because they have orders from big sale is no excuse for a delay of this length. I did receive my order and they did arrive safely. But my experience has led me to purchase Shout Factory only if no other alternative merchant for an item is available.

So far, so good! I have quite a few movies from different genres from Shout Factory. Overall I’m quite satisfied. Buying from Shout Factory is definitely better than shopping for their releases on Amazon or eBay. Shout Factory’s are definitely better. Shout Factory definitely delivers the goods and some real collectors commodities.

Shout Factory is a great entertainment company. It’s so awesome to see old movies that I loved as a kid brought back with such quality and care. Especially for me it’s the Hammer movies that I love! I would love to see them all in 4K UHD.

I came to Shout! Factory mainly for the anime selection (it's currently the only genre I'm interested in purchasing hard copies of; will be sure to come back here in the future if I'm interested in expanding my horizons but because of the high prices compared to other retailers like Amazon, I will be actively looking for sales). Really great customer service. There's a small production error with the Ghibli SteelBooks and I've come to Shout! twice for help. I love Shout/Scream Factory--the films, the extras, the transfers. But the shipping phase needs help. It was two weeks from order to delivery, and my movies came in an envelope, rather than a box. One disc was loose in the case, and the liner was full of wrinkles, like it had been exposed to heat.

This company has Blu-rays that we cannot find anywhere else. You look them up and they'll just show DVD go here and you can find them. And they have obscure movies on Blu-ray. We order from them all the time and will continue to. And when they say it's going to be here it's here by that date or before. We will continue to use them. Great company!

This was another bare bones release priced like a collectors edition. Shout Factory goes further downhill the larger it gets. Hardly any value in their product anymore. Thanks for finally releasing this but its not really any better than the DVD and certainly not worth the price.

Awful packaging, slow shipping. My order took an entire week before it was even shipped, and the four movies I ordered were shoved into a comically oversized bubble mailer so they were violently thrown around in shipping. Movies came with loose discs and and discs are scratched. Very poor form from a company that claims to cater to collectors.

Due to the sale, or at least that's the excuse I'm going with, it did take an exorbitant amount of time for my items to ship. I want to continue to support SF in providing physical media to us, but almost double ordered one of the items. I had momentarily forgotten I had obtained the item during the sale. I would suggest better communication in the future. Possibly sending an email with a status update at least every 3 days, up until the date of shipment. This will let us users know that the order is still in flight, didn't get lost in the system, and what items to expect.

I hope SF reads this. To my fellow buyers, I can only suggest patience as SF does provide better than average product.

Great selections as well as great deals on their products on a consistent basis. Trusty delivery with tracking and gets products to you in a timely manner. If any delays they will reach out to you and communicate via email with details. I highly recommend Shout Factory for your movie needs.

I had a problem with one item that showed it was delivered to me which I did not receive. Shout factory showed in their records that is was delivered to me, but it wasn't. The folks at Shout Factory sent me a free exact same item with free shipping. I have every intention of continuing to do business with people of the highest integrity, like the people at Shout Factory. Their commitment to keeping me as a customer has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated, and will be rewarded by my continued patronage and loyalty to them.

Scream factory has definitely stepped their packaging game up from what it was years ago. My posters and slips are in better condition. I will occasionally get a scratched disc and I wish they would have better protection especially for the 4k disc. However overall i do feel extra effort has been applied over the years and I'm thankful. As much as I love scream factory ordering from them years ago was a nightmare to where I quit buying from them directly. Now I feel better about buying from them. I'm so thankful posters are rolled now and have better packaging. I would recommend them now just always be sure to check your disc but you should do that with any movie anyways

In my very first order from shout factory I received a damaged disc case for the movie Army of Darkness. The movie disc had popped out, was loose in the case and was scuffed. I was able to wipe it off with a microfiber cloth and it was acceptable. I contacted customer service and was able to get a new case shipped to me.

Update: I just opened the second 4K, War Games in this same order and the case was cracked. Very disappointed with Shout Factory. I decided to order directly from them cause I was having issues with Amazon. I guess it’s an issue you can’t escape. 😔
