I cancelled my order less than 5…
I cancelled my order less than 5 Minutes after ordering and was told that I could not do that and that the textbooks would be delivered anyhow.
They said that when the books are delivered to return them to Springer
I put an alert on my credit card.
I am not happy with this company.
I returned the books when I got them and still have trouble with my credit card.

I appreciate having received the paper version of the book on which I made a recension (but I preferfer to make a recension on a paper book rather than an electronic version, which allow making notes on the pages...

Bad experience, suggesting to avoid
I ordered a couple of books and DPD made a mess. I contacted Springer Nature customer service to chase my order. After a passing my issue among them a few times, they decided to ignore the issue. I will not order from them and I suggest to avoid because after you pay, you are on your own if anything happens for your order.

Principally the e-Shop portal is fine
Principally the e-Shop portal is fine. However, I intentionally ordered the book of interest over the Springer and later the APress site as a printed version; even though it would have been slightly cheaper to do so over Amazon, with the understanding that the book would be added to my e-Bookshelf. Unfortunately, neither portal added the book to my e-Bookshelf.
Personally I prefer to read a physical book as it is far easier to browse and estimate how much further till the end of a chapter for instance. However since I do not want to carry a number of books around with me and on occasions need to reference the book I greatly appreciate the online e-Book reference.
Albeit, I initially contacted Springer Customer Service directly by phone the issue was not resolved and I have now contacted them again.
The bottom line is that I think it is worth the extra cost to purchase directly over Springer Verlag for the added benefit, in this way I am encouraged to return and purchase additional material knowing that I have both hard and soft copies.
I look forward to this issue being resolved in the close future.

Very slow delivery
Very slow delivery, I still have not recieved any information about when it will be delivered.
