Recently bought a Jaguar XJR from Jack at Swallows for my elderly father as his last motoring hoorah ☺️. Jack was incredibly helpful, chatted to me in detail about the car and sent me many photos and video of the vehicle. When I decided to go ahead he then made sure the car was checked thoroughly through the workshop with a fresh MOT and advisories rectified before letting the car leave. Jack’s dad dropped the car off in Norfolk after several hours of driving and chatted to my dad about Jag’s which are clearly a passion for both. Couldn’t recommend the team at Swallows Jaguar enough and will definitely be happy to deal with Jack again in the future.

I booked my car in for a routine service. The service prior to the day was excellent with very good communication by telephone and email. On arrival I handed over my keys and was told to expect a call when my car was ready to collect. I received a call at lunchtime to inform me that there was a small issue with the car and they sent me a quote for the additional work. I received a call later that afternoon telling me that my car would be ready for collection at 4:30pm. I arrived to collect slightly early at 4:25 my car was not ready for collection. The service light had not been reset.I overhead the conversation about it and one member of staff seemed reluctant to check. I also checked and my car had been driven into Axbridge and back that morning. When I was eventually given my keys to drive home I noticed that the radio station had been changed probably when the car was taken for a ride prior to it's service. I think the whole experience seemed unprofessional compared to the service I used to get from the main Jaguar dealer and the like for like price was more expensive

Recommended to Swallows to fix a long standing tick-over problem, they made an in depth examination of the vehicle and cured a tricky fault, I am delighted and very happy to pay their very modest bill. The car drives like a dream, so a very big "Well Done" to Swallows.

After having my F Type 2 years, I was about to sell and move away from Jaguar because of how terrible JLR main dealers are up and down the UK. Then I found Swallows... I've used them twice now, and cannot recommend them enough!

Firstly when I dropped the car off for a proper once over, which I suspect the car had not had since it was built in 2016... The bill ended up being larger than I had hoped, but undoubtedly more reasonable than the rates I was used to paying at JLR. The team kept me up to date throughout, so that I was fully aware of the things they were finding with the car (engine oil leak and the common dreaded injector seizing issue), and wasn't surprised with a massive bill all in one go at the end... Darryl went out of his way to educate me on the problems they'd found, and even sent me images.

Second visit was for an annual service and an EML light that popped up whilst I was halfway through driving the NC500. Firstly, after going through fault codes on the phone from the other end of the country, Darryl was great at putting my mind at ease. The car was squeezed in at Swallows with a weeks notice, and the problem was again diagnosed and explained in a way that I understood, and was happy to proceed with the repair...

When I wasn't talking to Darryl, Sydney was also super helpful and friendly. Sydney also came in specially on the weekend whilst they were closed, so I could pick up the car. Amazing service from both!

Hopefully don't have any more surprise visits to Swallows until the next service is due. They've also changed my mind about selling the car as I'm completely reassured I've got great support there for when things inevitably need looking at on the old Jaaag.

10/10 friendly, honest specialist that knows what they're doing...

I booked in for my annual service and MOT last week.
Swallows again offered exemplary service and I am extremely pleased with their efficiency and very high level of professionalism. I have total trust in them - they really care about Jaguars.

I have used Swallows for servicing, repairs and maintenance of my Jaguar X350 XJR for quite a number of years now. I have never looked back since moving from a main dealer and have been totally satisfied with the workmanship, technical understanding of the design and general needs of the car, and, of course, the value for money of their work. Without Swallows, my car would have been off the road years ago; these people keep it alive, maintaining the cars reliably and only changing parts that actually need to be replaced.
You could not wish to meet a better team of people, from the front desk to the Jaguar-trained Master Mechanics.
Swallows are an example for others to aspire to, especially Jaguar's main dealers. Look at the people Jaguar and learn how it should be done.
Don't even think of going anywhere else, whatever the age or Jaguar you might own.

I bought (August 2023) a used Jaguar from Swallows and strongly recommend them. They are passionate about, and have deep knowledge of, all things Jaguar. Car sales are not the mainstay of their business; Swallows specialise in Jaguar engineering, racing, maintenance and components. The car I bought was accurately described, very well presented and documented. I was able to inspect it at my own pace, which is important when buying a used vehicle. The level of service given to the car and customer service to me exceeded my expectations.

Would highly recommend Swallow taxi service.
Used them to take us to Heathrow Airport and pick us up from Southampton docks both times arrived early were polite and chatty a great start and finish to our holidays.
Have recommended them to family for airport runs and they have all been extremely pleased.

I cannot recommend Swallows enough absolutely exemplary service by a very friendly, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic Team of people who go that extra mile to make sure their customers are happy with their work.

Bunch of time wasters from beginning to end. Bought a pair of left and right coil pack covers in December. Took their engineers 3 months to engrave their special Swallows logo on them with excuse after excuse and then they sent me 2 left sided covers. Complained and then they sent me a new cover that needed 3 stages of sanding and a final stage of polishing to look like one from the first pair. Complained about this and told they me sent it to their polishing guy who obviously couldn't be bothered to do it. Said I could send it back at my own expense and they would fix this 2nd screw up to. Complete waste of time.

I visited Swallows as I was not confident that Bristols new Jaguar main dealership would understand what I wanted. I was very impressed by the passion for the business Jack showed when he gave me a tour f the garage so I booked my car in and was reassured that my car was in good hands. I was kept informed throughout the day and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Professional and helpful. My car feels like new and cost me less than I expected. Thanks guys.

Cracking bunch, incredible standard of work.

Had my race car rollcaged, suspension and polybushes installed and a full geometry setup. I left with probably the most fun car I have ever driven in my life. The people at Swallows were careful with their attention to detail, and helped me out with a lot of extra bits where they could.

Really friendly guys and working to high standards. Just a shame they are a 4 hour drive away!!

I bought an S-type from them and they did everything as promised. After a few days the engine warning light came on. They arranged a computer check local to me which showed a catalytic converter was on the way out. They delivered a part to a Jag specialist local to me, arranged the replacement and settled the bill in hours.
Very impressive after sales service !

While on holiday, happened to drive past Swallows Jaguar. And seeing as I own a XF with a little problem, called in. The help I received was second to none, really helpful, they really know they stuff. Now know what my little problem is and how to fix it. Many thanks lads.

On my third Jaguar but first bought from Swallows. I cannot praise Jack, Gary and the guys enough. Second to none service, friendly, and very helpful. All things i pointed out with the car when I viewed it was sorted plus some things Jack pointed out that I didn't notice. Car delivered to my door, despite me living 80 miles away. Gary had even put some fuel in it for me.
Fantastic service, I will definitely be using Swallows again.

I have just sold my X350 to Swallows through 'Motorway'. The price offered was good, Gary came and collected car, didn't try to knock the price down by finding extra faults as predicted by other people.
Could not fault their customer service and Gary being a classic motorcycle man like myself speaks for itself.
Would definitely recommend and if I or any of my associates are considering another Jag then this is the place to go where ever you are in the country.

Swallows have looked after our Jaguar for a number of years now, and we are delighted at the service they provide on every visit.
We used to use a local Jaguar Main Dealer who demonstrated a complete inability to keep the car in good and trouble-free order.
I wish I had found Swallows years ago. Without them, I am 100% sure that my Jaguar would have been written off years ago.
Swallows know and understand Jaguars, and provide truly excellent customer service with a very knowledgeable team. The team really care about their customers and their Jaguars. I recommend them to fellow Jaguar owners often; You don't get any better than Swallows to look after your car.

Can't thank these guys enough for the communication and final deal put together and agreed for the XJR which was delivered to the doorstep, in the middle of these wretched Covid-19 restrictions.

Can’t recommend Tom, Chris and the team enough. The whole Swallows Racing experience from start to finish was amazing. I had a rough idea of what I wanted so they advised and put together the perfect Stage 1 package to get the most out of my XF - for a very reasonable price. Splitting the total project into 2 packages also means I will see the best improvement without a massive financial hit…!!! Fantastic ‘5 Star’ service from start to finish. If you own a Jag - these are the guys to trust.
 
As for the car itself……WOW, I have been blown away by the new performance. It feels like a totally different car, the power is there instantly and it finally feels like the car it should have been from new. The drive home was awesome and I’m looking forward to being able to fully unleash the power. I can’t wait for Stage 2...!!!

I'm my sixth year as Jaguar owner, Swallows were recommended to me by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club as the best local independent specialist to take my cherished XKR to be serviced and maintained.
Having previously used main dealers to look after my cars I was amazed by the positive experience of using an independent. Gary, Tom, Jack and the team at Swallows really care about what they do and are passionate about the brand. I'm delighted that they are now also servicing Land Rovers too and having just had my Range Rover Sport serviced and the gearbox and diff oil changed I can honestly say that the car is driving better than ever.
I spend a lot money on my cars and I need a garage that I can trust and I trust Swallows.
