An interesting and well-paced class
Engaging, excellent instructor covered all relevant topics. Questions from participants made the class lively and interesting. Pace was perfect for me.

I really liked the test prep class. I learned a lot of short cuts and learned a different hints that I can use. The only thing is that is a bit long and exhausting.
Stephanie was truly great and I think she had a lot of potential to go deeper into the subject material. I think if the slides had been a little be more in depth and scaffolded there would have been greater understanding for the math CSET 2. Conics was very glazed over when in reality there were lots of questions on that on the test. Also it would be super helpful to have more individual problems to practice the material on beside on exam question that is walked through immediately. Lastly it would be so helpful to end the class with take a different version of the exam to see how you do on your own
Awesome online course! The videos and slides as well as the practice tests and diagnostic breakdowns have all helped me pass the RICA. I highly recommend taking this course!
Myesha Pruitt was a great teacher for the 3 day CSET multiple subject review! She was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable with all of the test material! The days are long and filled with information, but worth the time you put in. I felt confident and less anxious after attending the conference. This course is extremely valuable because the information is more focused and narrowed down.
Where do I start? Math and science are two subjects in which I struggled the most and my job was on the line if I didn’t pass Multiple Subject CSET II. I only used Teachers Test Prep to study for this particular CSET. For two weeks straight I dedicated 4 hours each weekday just studying using only the videos and would pause and write notes when needed. On weekends, I would watch EVERY, SINGLE, VIDEO! It was about 8 hours long just to get through both sections (math and science). When taking the test I felt like I did horrible (I answered one math constructive response with one sentence and pretty much restated the constructive response prompt for the science portion). But when I received my results, to my surprise I did amazing on the multiple choice questions and answered almost all the questions correct (and received **** stars) in both math and science but didn’t do well on constructive response (only received * star for both math and science constructive responses). In the end, the videos can be boring and the instructor giving the presentations isn’t the most enthusiastic person (and says “ummm” and also Clicks his tongue a lot) but overall seems knowledgeable of the subject matter he is teaching and the material that he covers is definitely on the test! For that reason I’m giving it a ***** star rating! Thank you!
I just took the tests today and I'd say most of their information is outdated, or didn't apply to the test. While a few questions directly correlated to the two day course, I feel I could have done better by simply reviewing slides on my own. The instructor would give a 7-8 minute break every two hours of lecture. While I understand the amount of information, that's not sustainable. Instructor repeated comments such as, "I really hate this next question, but..." and "...well you really don't have a choice". I'm sure he thought he was being funny, but after the 30th time, it gets old. Waste of $300.
Teachers Test Prep has been very helpful with providing efficient practice exams for the CBEST. I recently started exploring the CSET help that is offered but I am sure it will be as helpful as the CBEST help.
I took the in person CSET Social Science Prep course in the LA area. It was a good overview of the three subtests. It's a lot of information to cover in two days but it will help you narrow your studying and get an idea of what the tests will be like. It is a good aid in your preparation for the exams, but you will need further studying in my opinion. My instructor was knowledgable and kept the class moving at a good pace. After your prep course you have digital acess to the lecture slides to keep reviewing. Overall a pretty good prep course but you will need further studying to pass.
This program was amazing! I had struggled to pass my social science CSET tests and this system helped me to finally pass them! The lecture videos and slides were extremely helpful to me. I think the only thing I had wished there was more of was more in depth explanations of the geography portions of the test. Other than that, the information given was great and the diagnostic tools available really improved my learning. After studying, I really felt confident for my exams, unlike times before. I highly recommend this program to anyone that needs to take their CSET!
English CSET I-IV was a challenge for me as I was not an English major. Though teacherstestprep definitely made things easier to understand, I was unable to pass my CSETs for 12 consecutive times.
Also just to clarify, though it says it is guaranteed once we purchase a core program, do we only get a full refund once for the entirety of our program purchases and retakes?
Was concerned about getting through the material and staying interested. The various ways you can review and learn the material is impressive. I plan on using the site to take the special education praxis since I know it works. I was over the moon when I passed my test the first time. I know Teachers Prep was the reason I did. Thank you Teachers Prep.
TTP was very helpful in prepping me for CSET.
The program offers a basic introduction to the CPACE exam and provides some useful organizational tips. This is a general overview sequence, covering most material in generalities and in places presenting misleading or in accurate information.
It was a good class, a lot of information was covered. However, the first thing, the very first thing out of the instructors mouth was "I do not want to be here, I am over teaching this class but they keep calling me"
That set the stage for me and put me more on edge.
Other than that I did walk away with a ton of notes to help me study.
Using the teachers test prep was one of the best investments I have ever made! I took the Multi-Subject CSET and passed the first time. It helps narrow down the most important information you will need on the test. Do not hesitate because YOU will not regret it.
The test prep helped me figure out what I was doing wrong and enabled me to pass the test.
The CSET social studies teachers prep guide followed the CTC study guide. The videos were extremely helpful because they went through every section of what the CTC was asking us to study. The study guide is daunting but teachers test prep was able to break it down for me. Teachers test prep is a great starting point and will go through everything you need to cover for the social studies CSETs.
I passed my three CSETs on my first try in a span of a semester.
Thank you teachers prep!
Todd is an excellent teacher and makes sure to cover all the subjects in a timely manner as well as save time for questions before and during breaks!
I think the instructor for my math/science prep course is very smart, but also very burned out. The class felt rushed; it should have been spread out over 2 days. For the amount of $$ TTP makes on these courses, it's unacceptable that there are no longer water bottles or even hot water in the lobby. Even dogs are offered water at most establishments. I think they should have provided some light snacks and drinks, and switched out instructors mid day, since ours was clearly spent from having done three days in a row. It's a massive money maker that should be revamped, in my opinion. The slides haven't been updated in a long time, so they aren't pouring money back into their materials. I wasn't very happy.
