I've bought glasses from here twice; and been very pleased on each occasion. I've received sensible advice and the glasses have arrived quickly.

The prices are good, the quality excellent and delivery is quick. These are good glasses at a sensible price. I will continue to get my glasses from here.

Rimless glasses and the inner securing screws/nuts had not been treated with a locking solution - the result was the glasses fell to pieces within a couple of hours. My local optician kindly remedied the problem without charge. They did however make some comments about the firm that had assembled my glasses.

Everything worked quickly and easily.

I have terrible eyesight and wanted to get extra thin lenses for my glasses. Many of the high street opticians couldn't offer me the thin 1.9 lenses and some even said that they didn't exist. I contacted ThinLenses.co.uk by phone and was given all the advice I needed. It was really easy to order online and I received my glasses a week later. The lenses are thinner than any I have had before and were £200.00 cheaper than the quote from Boot Opticians. I'm really pleased with my new glasses and would definitely recommend Thinlenses.co.uk. The service throughout was excellent.

They were very efficient and contacted me to confirm that the existing varifocal lenses were sent to them with the prescription so that they could ensure the measurements were correct.

I'm really happy with my glasses. The whole experience was easy and after the trouble I'd had with some high street opticians (coming away with glasses that I couldn't wear!) very reassuring and refreshing. I will definitely come back to thin lenses in the future!

I am happy with my order and especially the excellent support I recieved over the phone prior to placing the order. I am of course the appearance of my lenses and frame.

However, it would be good if you could offer a service where customers and trial a frame (without the lenses) before purchasing. Some of your competitors offer this service where they send out frame in the post so the customer can try them on before buying.

I have a huge amount of astigmatism (-5.00) and usually have to fiddle with the side-arms on a new pair of specs to get the axis dead-right. The pair I just got from ThinLenses were perfect straight out of the box.

Recommended by another friend, I took a look on the website and went through the ordering process before deciding I would take the plunge. I wasn't sure about all the prescription details such as the spacing of the eyes but having got my glasses they are perfect so the national average works perfectly for me. having recently broken a lense on my old glasses I knew to have 1 new lense was about £75 from the highstreet, so was delighted to have a complete pair for £140 which made it seem like I was getting the frames for free.
My only criticism of the site was how they broke down the glasses into type, I found that confusing and as I was looking for rimless would have just preferred to see a full selection of those.

I was initially unsure about making such a large purchase online and not having tried the frames on but after a telephone call to thin lenses customer services the questions that I had were expertly answered and my worries allayed. I am thrilled with my glasses, the finish is excellent and the glazing is perfect - of a much higher standard than my usual High St optician and at half the price!!

Because I`d sat on my glasses whilst looking for them, I sent them off to be repaired. The high street were of no help, the frames were now no longer manufactured. (the glasses were six months old).. ThinLenses found this no problem at all. They were returned to me less than a week later as good as new.. I will be using them again when I return to the UK. I have sat on them again.. A habit I`m trying to break.!

I'm really pleased with the glasses I ordered from ThinLenses. I've also worked out that they cost me exactly half of what they would have done had I ordered them from the opticians where I get my eye tests done. Will definitely use them again and recommend to others too!

I was very pleased with the attention and advice I was given and the gentleman I spoke to inspired confidence. I live in France and was told my glasses could take two weeks and they were here in a week; I was impressed!

Already purchased a pair of glasses from Specsavers which cost me £400. Hate wearing my glasses normally but the ones I got from thinlenses.co.uk were so nice I wear them all the time and they cost me significantly less than Specsavers at £175 for exactly the same thing. I'll be buying all my glasses here from now on!!

The rain has gone.

i was apprehensive about ordering glasses over the intenet but i had been dissapointed so often before when buying from the high street chains paticularly with the lenses they offered, they all seemed to concentrate on the frames but nice frames are no good if the lenses in them are thick and heavy and you are still paying a lot of money for them. In the end i took the plunge and purchased a pair over the internet from thinlenses and i and very pleased with them particularly considering the price paid and the glasses are now my main pair and i have a drawer full of uncomfortable expensive glasses - a testimony to my expensive high street past purchases.

Seamless service, brilliant communication and quick delivery

I found the sight by chance and as my glasses are very expensive here in Tenerife thought I would give them a try.Found them to be excellent with customer service and I am very satisfied with the glasses and more so woth the delivery as they arrived within a week, normally unheard of for stuff from the Uk to here.I will be using them again
