      Great service and support

      I used transip for a virtual private server and a domain name.

      The service was very easy to use and I had no problems at all.

      I stopped using the service after a year because I didn't need it anymore, and had no problem cancelling.

      The support staff are very friendly and helpful.

      If I need another VPS or domain in the future, I will use transip again without hesitation.

        Transip is good enough but they could be much better in what regards client service support.

        One thing that could certainly improve Transip's client service would be to have phone support, some form of contact in which we could speak directly to someone from Transip's technical support in order to solve each client's issue on time, live.

          Great and extremely quick help!

          I wanted to know how to get my Stack storage in my Finder. So, I handed in a ticket on Transip. The service employee Nick immediately knew what I ment and before I knew it I was able see my files in Finder.

            They host malware sites and domains that steal content

            This company allows domains to use their servers to spread malware and viruses on unsuspecting consumers. They also allow these domains to steal copyrighted material. I brought one domain to their attention on February 28. It is not March 14th and the domain in question is still spreading malware and copying material. I have email backup to support all of this.

              Worst Support, Behaviour & Prices

              I bought a TransIP VPS because I could see the prices were alright expensive, so I expected a good service and a good VPS. After the first month it was like the server lost some of its perfomance. We have a 120/120 internet connection from where we are and I guess the servers have even more, so it is not the internet connection there is a problem. My system is an Alienware 2015 M17 R2, so it should definitely also do the work. The only thing on the server after the first month was the Xampp service running MySQL, FileZilla and Apache. But after the first month we could feel the lag on the server just by moving the mouse, it got problems with opening the Windows Explorer windows. They started to crash like the system was overloaded. I bought my server together with a domain (1 year) in November and then I got billed/charged for my domain in the start of January even though when you pay/buy domain you pay for 1 year at the time and it was also written in the invoice. Yeah. One big amature mess. I stopped all my work there and all the customers I recommend TransIP will be redirected to another professional company.

              UPDATE:
              Now my account at TransIP is deleted. Ridiculous company, but it doesn't matter. It is the most expensive place to buy anything. :)
              So my domain that I paid for twice is just gone now, since I can't log in and manipulate with my domain.

                awesome support

                I've noticed Transip now supports TLSA records, but DNSSEC is unfortunately not available for .me TLDs. So I wrote to the support. Not only were they fast and super friendly (got a nice reply about 10 minutes after my initial request), they also forwarded my request to their tech support, which investigated further. After 1-2 days I got another message. DNSSEC is now working for my domain. Just awesome.

                  Great service, excellent helpdesk - and fast too!

                  Not only does Transip deliver exactly what they're advertising for a very reasonable price, but their responsive helpdesk has answered my questions within minutes every single time. Highly recommended.

                    The best VPS hosting company I have ever used

                    I am using transip about 2 years now. The system is full automated and you can do amost all tasks by yourself (Create a VPS, Install OS, Change OS add memory, cpu etc). The VPS console is very good you have access to server regerless of the network settings it has, it is not a VNC client like other hosting companies have.

                    The performance is very good, I had experience from many VPS hosting companies in the past and this was always the problem, when I moved to TransIP I couldn't believe how good the performance was. At first I thought this was because it was a new company and there systems were not overloaded yet, but after 2 years the performance is the same.

                    The support is very good but you will rarely need it.

                    The system is very stable and I cannot remember any service interruption so far.

                    The have very strict security policies and this could be a problem some times.

                    I am sure they keeping backups...
                    Recently I accidentally formatted one of my VPSs, it was a cpanel server with many sites. Although I keep my own backups every day it would be difficult and time consuming to restore such system. I had started to upload backups to a new server when I open a ticket to ask if it was possible to recover the VPS somehow. I didn't expect much but they responded with a list of recovery points and they told me that is was possible for them to recover the system to any of these points with a charge of 50euro. I responded to the ticket and the VPS was up and running again after 30'. This was the best experience I had form TransIP so far.

                    I have recommended TransIP to some friends and customers, everybody is happy and no one have reported any problem to me yet.

                      Very Good

                      Before signing up with this provider I had read some negative reviews, especially regarding the fact that they block email ports 25 and 587...
                      This happened to me as well, support replied to my ticket very fast and explained the block is automatic on every server... however, they immediately unblocked them as per my request.
                      Performance of the VPS is very good.

                      So far, I can't complain.

                          TransIP is a great provider, they set up my VPS in less than 5 minutes after I placed my order. The Control Panel is superb! I really appreciate things like 2-Factor-Authentication and the possibility to install unmodified OS images via VNC. The perfomance is great! This
                          is literally the best experience I've ever had with VPS providers. Keep up the good work!

                            Excellent customer service and good performance

                            Having been using various root server and VPS providers over the past 10 years or so, I have become accustomed to fairly atrocious service and mediocre performance and connectivity. Transip do not follow that trend.

                            Performance has been excellent since day one, and network connectivity is equally good. Everything in the control panel is clearly labeled and easy to find as well. The one exchange I've had with customer service has been the most pleasant experience I've had with customer service in a hosting context, and my issue was resolved in record time.

                            I initially selected a transip blade VPS for the OpenBSD support, and I can highly recommend it for that and the above reasons.

                                  Responsible and super helpful registrar

                                  Our Company has been hijacked by our own ex-IT administrator and all our web domains under his management has been changed to his name and subsequently cancelled.

                                  We were ready to fight and go to court but thanks to transip.nl responsive intervention we were able to regain all our domains back without long delays and costly court fees.

                                  All the companies staff were really surprised at the easy and level of professionalism at transip.nl and we are really grateful for their willingness to go the extra mile to protect customers who were caught in a hard situation like us.
