90 dollars for 12 mile ride

Heres one for you. We needed a 12 mile ride to the beach. The trip there was 27.00 which we understood because of traffic, when we put in for a return ride, the estimate comes up 47.00 which i thought was really high but traffic was heavy. I accepted the 47.00 quote and our ride appeared in 3 minutes. The trip home to 12 minutes longer than the trip there due to traffic. I get my trip report and find I have been charged 90.26 UNREAL After spending an abundant amount of time trying to figure out how to cantact, they are useless to help or even see the craziness of this ride. I will be sure to tell everyone i know

UBER ROTS

One thing to say about uber.. Scammers and cheats..
Experience with drivers was fine. However it's the fraudulent charges . I was charged $24.99 for something that I never subscribed to. RIDE PASS .
Naturally trying to reach someone was ridiculous. Reporting to the federal trade commission.
Email said I cancelled twice within 15 minutes. Total B.S. Deleted my account and definitely won't recommend uber.

Never again will I use Uber and will make sure I tell everyone . My daughter who is 21 booked an Uber to take her home . It was 1.30 am and she had been out with friends. She felt a bit ill and asked driver to stop so she could get out to be sick and he drove off leaving her on a roundabout and not knowing where she was in a city at 1.30’am on a Saturday night . Lucky for her I had just got in my car from airport. She rang and guided me to where she was and there were two guys standing behind her ready to either rob her her god knows what if I hadn’t had pulled up in my car. Absolutely disgusting that my child’s life was put in danger . He called of waited and called her another taxi if he didn’t want her to get back in. Not just dump her in the middle of the night. Lucky for us our friends are looking through cctv on when he picked her up and when he dumped her. He also refunded her money and deleted messages but she photo shot them . He also tried to take £40 out of her account and said she had made a mess in his car but she was actually with her friends in the pub at the time he said he picked her up. Evil , evil man . Let’s hope no one ever does that to your child😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Utterly useless customer service and no…

Utterly useless customer service and no skills what so ever. I left the mobile get off the car and unloaded my shopping. The realized that I left the iPhone on the seat. I just put my hand and said hello to the driver to get the phone and he drove off. After 3 minutes I was and on my phone and he was switched off. I signed in to Uber account request the calls over 60 times he just cut off the call. I call the uber customer care and 22 times, ever times registering my cause. What poor service they do. Apology for my language. Took me 5 days and still in here then I call again. then the man said Oh driver didn't find the phone in his car. I can prove and see from my hotel reception video camera. They protect him. It is ok, he can keep the phone, I lost me all family and friends contact as I am working in KSA, not residence here. I lost all my banking stuff. It sad that he can't use my phone as its unlock and its UK phone.

Uber used to be easy and reliable

Uber used to be easy and reliable. I have been late to work on several occasions as of recent. I always schedule a ride at least an hour in advance to ensure I get to work on time. For some reason, it seems they always choose the driver who's farthest away for my pick up! Also, lately a lot of my morning rides have been cancelled causing them to have to locate another driver who's even farther away! I'm not sure about what's going on but someone needs to take a look at their system.

Overcharged and no action being taken unbelievable been riding with Uber for 4 years correction 5 years I have taken a lot of crap off of this company well today was the final straw but the trip that's usually $7.49 today the price surge to $10.49 okay $3 no big deal I'll bite it I need to get to where I'm going when the trip finalized it was $19.49 call their so-called premium support service and basically told me there was nothing they could do for me all I'm asking is that they honor the price shown up front I think Uber's main goal is just to get the money out of the people Liars sneaky snakes that Rob people who work hard for their money and choosing them for their services only to get screwed by them this has happened to me more than a few times and I am over it ladies and gentlemen start using Lyft

Overcharged and ignored.

I ordered a taxi which was estimated to cost between £11-£14 so I paid the £14 as usual then my taxi fare actually cost £11. Nice. However I then checked my uber app and noticed I had been charged an extra £4 for a cancellation fee from the very same driver that took me home? I have then checked my bank account and uber have charged me £28 for an £11 taxi ride. I have tried to contact their twitter support who have ignored me and I am £17 out of pocket. Won’t be using them again.

The reason I'm giving a one star is NOT to the driver but because I was charged $52 for the ride then I was charged another $6 I will never use Uber again. That is ridiculous and it doesn't say what the $6 was for.

Utter utter utter rubbish

Utter utter utter rubbish. Not even worth the one star for the review. If you live out of town you have no chance of getting a taxi. Twice they cancelled me, no doubt an easier fare came. They are totally unreliable, no moral ethics. I wouldn’t use them if they were the last taxi firm on earth.
I have deleted their app from my phone.

Honestly if there's any way to give uber 0 star,I would....uber sucks as a company it keeps blaming the drivers for no reason...stop banning your drivers for your customers..one thing uber needs to remember, without driver you can't have customers..uber treat drivers like dogs.uber customers are a bunch of liars ,they lie all the time on drivers because they know uber gives them advantage on the drivers .Uber should take that serious by telling the person accused to go to a precinct and get tested.These customers who are making the false reports.that drivers are drunk should be banned. People live in a democratic
society where one is innocent until proven guilty.You can't banned your drivers because a customer said so ; You don't know the motivation behind that.

I love driving for Uber however if you all keep refunding customers for false allegations because they’ve decided they don’t want to pay for the ride y’all will continue to lose money! Most of the time the riders aren’t being honest especially when the arrive to their destination safe and sound!

I tried to order an uber to take me…

I tried to order an uber to take me home from hospital last week, it was a complete disaster, firstly, this was my first time ordering an Uber, i was being released from hospital after an operation and tried to order an Uber to take me home, I couldn’t get any confirmation that the Uber was picking me up or not, so I decided to phone Uber for assistance, NO CHANCE! not a number on the app anywhere, so I googled Uber got through to someone who was of no help whatsoever, she had to keep asking someone else for help.
I can’t be bothered wasting any more of my time explaining what happened, but in short it was a disaster, first and last time for me with Uber, my advice would be to just call a normal mini cab.

Worst support you can find

Nice app design hard to use in term of reaching support , loads of bugs aswell while setting your account for the first time because of the assumptions they make instead of giving you the options in the first place.So far so good you can setup a driver account very easily until you get to the point of background checks where you dont get all the options to do it unless you ask through support.Now another issue is trying to get what you need from them by asking them specifically what you need but getting random messages till the point you get mad and try to call them.By calling the support team wont solve anything for you (specifically for uber eats drivers) they will point you to the "correct department" which can be reached only through sending them messages.Hire people not robots who answer your question through matrices after 30 minutes of waiting .

Uber don’t care about you

If anything goes wrong they just blank you. They will just repeat the same line “we are unable to help” over and over. This seems like a deliberate policy and to me reflects their attitude towards customers which is basically we are big enough to not care about them.

This is consistent with my experience. I have switched to LYFT. I find both ride services to be about the same and very satisfactory. I never would have bothered trying LYFT since I thought UBER was fine until I needed their customer service, but now they've lost a loyal customer.This seems to be an unsustainable business model. Additionally, I would not have taken the time to write this negative review, except they followed up their initial poor customer service with another unsolicited response that was so disconnected from my actual request that I was compelled to write this.

The biggest most useless company known to man! I was going to be a Uber Eats rider for them. But all Uber do is mess folk around so I'm gonna work for Deliveroo instead! I do hope that Uber go under for how bad their customer service is.

I just used Uber two days in a row. First one, the driver COULD NOT FIND ME BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE WRONG PLACE. THEN HE CHARGED ME A WAIT FEE OF $1.70. Are you Kidding me????!!!!! I didn’t know it until AFTER I tipped. And I was way too generous. Next day, we were dropped off at our destination and I left a bag in the car. Just walked up the curb and he hadn’t even put the car in drive and he said-your bag is here. Whew thank you!!! Extra tip for him. Well-they charged me a $15.00 returned item fee. Added it to my credit card. OMG. He hadn’t even left where we were. Not even started to. Never, ever again will they get a dime of my money. The fare was $7.50 and I tipped $5.00 and then they charged me another $15.00. My $7.50 fare is now $27.50. Done. I can’t even believe this.
