I have been travelling with Tap air for almost 4 years
My girlfriend lives in natal Brazil
So I fly around every 9 weeks
I always found TAP to be ok food on flights
Was ok drinks the service of the stewards and stewardess no complaints
But this year I was returning to Brazil with my girlfriend and her daughters
From London Heathrow
Now I had a cabin approved case
Which on arrival they said was bigger
And had to pay
They charged me £85
I was not happy
But had no choice to pay
When we arrived in natal Brazil
We was waiting at the baggage belt
And nothing
So my girlfriend asked to man at airport
And he said I’m very sorry your case didn’t leave Heathrow
And it will not arrive until Monday
We arrived Friday
Now because of the time looking and waiting for my case I missed my free shuttle bus to pick up my rental car
Now I had rented a house in Pipa
Which is 65 miles from natal airport
So now not only has my case not arrived
Iv missed my bus to get car
I now have to wait in natal until I get my case delivered
Well 3 days later my new case arrived
And when I got it the driver said your case as been by a vehicle and damaged
My case was crushed
The contents smashed and damaged
I missed 3 and 1/2 days of my 10 holiday
So I wrote to TAP
And put in a claim
As i had lost so must time and my case was smashed
That was February
I emailed all information
Never getting any replies I called
This went on for months
Then last month
I received an email from tap
Saying that we cannot take responsibility
For your case it is down to the belt and cannot always be helped
So I emailed again and again saying the driver told me it was crushed by a vehicle
And what about my loss of my 3 days I had to pay for my house I rented and clothes I had to buy and having to pay for a taxi to pick up my rental car
They have point blank refused to pay me a single penny
I have spent £8.000 in the 4 years with tap
And they treated me like this
Tapair you should be ashamed how you treat your customers
Disgraceful
