This course, taught by Jim Sammons, is really an excellent foundation for anyone working in a Scrum team. Jim was super prepared, had a ton of experiences to share and draw from, and taught the course with the goal of preparing participants for real life Scrum situations and scenarios, in addition to preparing them for the certification. I feel that Jim used the online tools available very well, and worked hard to be proactive on any issues, and to cover any downsides or weaknesses of the tools. It was immediately apparent the effort that Jim put into connecting with individual participants during this course. In COVID times, it's easy to forget the importance of finding new, creative ways to connect with faces over video chat, but it really made the course feel more real and more engaging. I really hope the next Scrum course I take has Jim as an instructor.
