Best way of buying anything online, especially insurance, utilities etc. Cashback mounts up and then you can treat yourself to something really nice!
Safe & Sound glass is rubbish
I had 4 windows and 1 door installed in October last year at a cost of £6,600 (I know, what a mug). 2 of the windows facing a road were fitted with Safe & Sound glass, which, according to the salesman, were so efficient at cutting out noise he would be able to park his car right outside the windows and rev the engine and I wouldn't be able to hear it. He repeated this claim at least twice more. The windows are not only noisier than my old ones (I can hear every vehicle and even passers-by talking), but the house is colder too. The salesman came round uninvited after the installation to find out why I had cancelled an appointment with him for another quote. When I told him the Safe & Sound was rubbish and reminded him of his revving car claim, he said "that's what they tell us to say". I've put in a complaint with Anglian, but there's been no response apart from a brief voicemail which I couldn't hear properly. Now 4 months later I'm still trying to get a response from them. To add insult to injury their sales department keep ringing me trying to sell more of their overpriced rubbish. Terrible company, terrible products and non-existent customer service. Avoid.
Re Anglian reply - thank you. I hope the matter can now be resolved. Please could you let me know why you reported my review - I can only assume you were trying to get it deleted.

Got deposit back
I decided to cancel my order with Love Windows after I had given them a deposit. They refunded my deposit within 21 working days as per their cancellation conditions.

I feel it’s a shame you are cancelling.
If any money is paid ALL money is refunded in FULL if customers wish to cancel in line with cancellation procedure.
It’s nice to see you leaving us a review, confirming we have refunded you £1500 in the within our timescale we promise our customers.

Very reasonable pet insurance
Very reasonable pet insurance - much cheaper than I have found elsewhere.
Eventually OK
Bought a washing machine off them which arrived damaged (packaging very flimsy). I filled in a return form online and sent them pictures of the damaged item/box and was offered £10 off the price, which I declined. Explained to them that I didn't have access to a printer, so they said they would send me return labels. That was a month ago and I'm still waiting. If I ever get the labels I've then got to "drop the parcel at the most convenient post office" - it's a washing machine! I explained I'm a 60 year old woman with arthritis and asthma, but they've ignored that. Really regret buying from them. NB Hifi-Tower - if you packaged the items properly in the first place maybe you wouldn't get so many returns.
Update 16.3.18 - I did eventually receive the labels, packaged the machine up and hired a taxi to get it to the post office. 9 days later I have received a full refund from Hifi-Tower.
Terrible
Terrible. I've been trying to pay my final bill (having been conned into paying a £30 cancellation fee because I want to leave). Customer services online told me to pay by phone. The phone message told me to pay online. When I asked customer services online why I couldn't pay online he couldn't tell me "for security reasons". Tried again by phone but have been holding on 20 minutes. What a way to run a business. Steer well clear of them.

Very good service, always keep me informed on the progress of my order and medicines arrive quickly. Saves a trip to the chemist.
Great service from etyres
Easy to choose and order tyres on the website, Martin came out the next day and fitted them. He was polite and helpful and told me what he would be doing and how long it would take. Would recommend them.
Argos is great
Argos is great. Order online and the item is ready to pick up in a few minutes. Saves all the queueing and the staff are really helpful and efficient. If I need anything and Argos sells it, that's where I buy it!

HORRENDOUS!
The customer "helpline" (150) is appalling. I spent nearly all day trying to get my phone unlocked, was told it would take from 10-14 days but if I took it into a shop they would do it within 48 hours. So duly drove all the way to their shop to be told it would take 14 days at least. I said "you're customer services is awful". Bloke in shop agreed. My contract should have ended 2 days ago but I've just received a bill for another month. Every time you speak to someone they tell you something different. Taking out a contract with ee was one of the worst mistakes of my life. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
Fantastic service
Ordered from the Shower Doctor website Friday afternoon and item arrived in the post Saturday morning. Brilliant, will definitely use again.
